Anima in Macau Anglican College Open Day!

<29-10-2016> Anima has attended Macau Anglican College Open Day. Two of our staff,  with six of our dogs and three volunteers, attended to the event. Our messages were about animals, our code of ethics and how can they help us helping the animals! Around 150 people visited our booth! Never Abandon your pet! Abandoning a pet is cruelty! Anima–Santa Rosa (English Section) Visited Us!

<29-10-2016> Today, 56 people visited us, 27 of them were from Santa Rosa English Section! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to September 2016, Anima received 5,254 visitors, an increase of 25.54% as compared with the same period of last year! Anima–Dog under SPP Returned (SPP1790-Siu Pak)!

<29-10-2016> Siu Pak was released on 29th October 2016! SPP1790-Siu Pak (F), with an estimated age of 12 years old, was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 25th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a dog refused to eat for four days. Siu Pak was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. She had anorexia, obesity and fever. She has been staying with us under medication since that day. She has recovered and returned to her former place today. Ms. Peng is responsible for her in that area. Thanks Ms. Peng! Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! Anima – Invited to attend a Movie Sharing Event!

<29-10-2016> Anima was invited to the “Movie Sharing” event organized by the Sheng Kung Hui Social Service on 29 October 2016, and was represented by our Board Member Ms. Gina Rangel. The event started from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Albergue Fantasia 10. Three short movies were shown during the event. One of the movies was made by the students who had visited  ANIMA Shelter last month and made a video there. Thank you for spreading the message on animal protection! Thank you for your work! <28-10-2016> B054-Fei Fei was rescued by Anima already dead on 28th October 2016, after a call from our rescue team reporting that a bird body was found in Rotunda do Istmo. Anima–October Return to Family (1721-Konya)!

<28-10-2016> See Konya now and Konya when adopted! 1721-Konya (F) was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for 12 days,  since 16th October 2016. Konya was adopted by Mr. John Roy on 25th August 2016. SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), on the time around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx. seven weeks old. So we have decided to keep the future puppies! 1721-Konya together with 1718-Kimon, 1719-Kennis, 1720-Kuni, 1722-Kassie, 1723-Komie, 1724-Kolm, 1725-Kulee and 1726-Kerin were born on 11th May 2016. Anima–Rescue and Accommodation (SPPC1132-Steve)!

<28-10-2016> SPPC1132-Steve (M) and SPPC1133-Magoo, on the time with an estimated age of eight months old, were under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 24th February 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that Steve and Magoo live somewhere in Taipa under Michele’s responsibility. Anima provided both of them the de-sex surgeries in that day. Steve and Magoo were returned to the site after the surgeries, in good health condition. Today Steve was rescued by Anima through Michele again. Steve has gingivitis and refused to eat, his gums were inflamed as well. He is staying with us temporarily for treatment. Thanks Michele! Anima–Services provided to our community (862-Dotty)!

<27-10-2016> 862-Dotty (M), estimated 4.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 30th July 2012 after a call from our staff reporting that a dog was abandoned outside Anima. Dotty was adopted by Mr. Brett on 19th August 2012. Today we helped Mr. Brett to deliver Dotty to Macau Kennel for renewing his license as he has to work. A fee is collected to help the financing of our activities. Some community members that cannot afford do no pay at all. Anima members are exempt! To be a member of Anima you just need to pay an annual fee of MOP 360 if you are an adult or MOP 120 if you are a juvenile! Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet!
