Anima–Rescue (C1313-Asahi)!

<19-10-2016> C1313-Asahi (F), three months old, was rescued by Anima on 19th October 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a kitten was found near Pui Ching Middle School. Asahi was soaking and seemed to have an injury on the legs. Ms. Leong sent Ashai to a clinic and found that there was a fracture on her pelvis bone, but the vet said she is too young to receive a surgery now. Ashai was then transferred to a second clinic by us. According to the second clinic, the vet could run a surgery and put a small metal board between the pelvis bones to keep the bones in place. Asahi is staying in the second clinic for treatment now. Thanks Ms. Leong! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–SPP Return (SPP1407-B Zhai)!

<16-10-2016> B Zhai was released on 16th October 2016! SPP1407-B Zhai (M), three years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015! He lives in a site somewhere in Taipa. We were informed by a volunteer on 16th September 2016 that B Zhai got hurt on his back by hot water two weeks ago. B Zhai was brought to Anima for treatment immediately. He has recovered and returned to his former place today. Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! Anima–Temporary Accommodation (1721-Konya)!

<16-10-2016> See Konya now and when she was adopted! 1721-Konya (F) is now accommodated in Anima for 10 days until 26th October. SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), on the time around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx. seven weeks old. So we have decided to keep the future puppies! 1721-Konya together with 1718-Kimon, 1719-Kennis, 1720-Kuni, 1722-Kassie, 1723-Komie, 1724-Kolm, 1725-Kulee and 1726-Kerin were born on 11th May 2016. Anima–Adoption (C1251, C1252)!

<16-10-2016> Ferris and Fonda were adopted by Ms. Shum on 16th October 2016! C1250-Fazil (M), on the time one month old, C1251-Ferris (M) and C1252-Fonda (F), on the time both around ten days old, were rescued by Anima on 4th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Wai reporting that three kittens were found in Rua (street) de Tin Chon without their mother beside. They were checked by our vet and fostered by our Supervisor Zoe as they needed milk feeding. Fonda was adopted on 8th October 2016. However she was returned in the next day as the adopter has invoked she was not well! Ferris and Fonda stayed with us until now. Thanks Ms. Shum! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–Sad News (C203-Gata Mae)!

<15-10-2016> C203-Gata Mae (F), was rescued by Anima on 2nd August 2010, from a group of 50 cats. Gata Mae had been staying with us since that. She was sent to a clinic on 8th October 2016 as she was shrinking, severely dehydrated and refused to eat, even after we had tried to do our best! She stayed in the clinic for two days then returned to Anima on 10th October 2016. Her condition was not getting better even under treatment. She was then transferred to a second clinic and stayed there for medication. We were informed by the clinic that Gata Mae passed away this morning, suspected to have FIP. R.I.P. my friend! Rescue, New SPP and Accommodation (SPPC1312-Wando)!

<15-10-2016> SPPC1312-Wando (M), eight years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 15th October 2016, somewhere in Taipa. He was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. A blood test showed that he has renal failure, severely dehydration, jaundice, hypothermia and anemia. He is staying with us under IV dripping now. Anima–Sad News (C754-Ninety Nine)!

<15-10-2016> C754-Ninety Nine (M), was rescued by Anima on 9th July 2014, after a call from Mr. Wu reporting that a cat was hit by a car at Rua de Nam Keng. Ninety Nine was sent to a clinic to have a surgery. He had recovered and stayed with us since that. He was getting weak two days ago and was sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood test showed that he had severely anemia and infection, a poor prognosis. We were informed by the clinic that Ninety Nine passed away this afternoon. R.I.P. my friend!
