Anima – September Rescue and Return (SPP736-Ah Jake)!

<10-09-2016> SPP736-Ah Jake (M), seven years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 2011. Ah Jake was lost on 7th November 2015, on the way home during an adoption even with a leash. The leash was not properly tight! He was found today in Fai Chi Kei by the volunteer Seng who used to take care of him. We brought him to his former place and Seng is responsible for him in that area. Anima will not giver him back to the owner! Thanks Seng! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – September Rescue (1799-Brownie II)!

<09-09-2016> 1799-Brownie II (F), around 3.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 9th September 2016, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she found an injured puppy Brownie II in Fai Chi Kei. Ms. Wong sent Brownie II to a clinic because she couldn’t walk. According to the clinic, her pelvis was broken a bit and her tail has minor wound. She has pain and couldn't discharge herself. As so, she needs to stay inside a cage for one month to let the pelvis heal. Brownie II was collected to shelter and she is taken care by our supervisor Zoe as she needs force feeding. Cooperation Anima-IACM (SPP1598-Benita)!

<08/09/2016> This cooperation has allowed us and IACM to save around 40 dogs up to now! SPP1598-Benita (F). that was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 4th December 2015, lived in a site, somewhere in Coloane. She was caught by IACM and after being in Macau kennel for a while, she was sent to Coloane kennel and stays in pen 3 with her son SPP1483-Dax under Anima staff management. All animals in Coloane Kennel have play times as this is a principle in Anima. No animal is caged. Benita was caught by IACM on 23rd August 2016 and transferred to Coloane kennel today. IACM and Anima are cooperating in order to avoid the killing of so many animals. We hope that the new law will reduce the number of animals being abandoned! Thanks IACM! Anima – September Rescue (C1276-Jophin)!

<08-09-2016> C1276-Jophin (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 8th September 2016, after a call from Ms. Pang reporting that there was a cat she used to feed since half year ago in Edificio Yak Lei. The cat got pregnant and gave birth to two kittens. One of the kittens, C1273-Johan, was caught on 2nd September 2016. Today another kitten, Jophin, was caught and she is staying with us now. Anima – September Adoption (C1105-Karsen)!

<08-09-2016> Karsen was adopted by Mr. Cheang on 8th September 2016! The mother, C1102-Kanta, together with four kittens, C1103-Karin, C1104-Kasin, C1105-Karsen and C1106-Kapuni were rescued by Anima on 17th January 2016, after a call from Ms. Yao reporting that Kanta and her kittens lived in a warehouse in Rua Cinco de Outubro. According to Ms. Yao, the warehouse will close until March and she had no access to give food to the cats as she always did. We collected all of them to Anima. Kanta, Karin, Kasin and Kapuni were adopted already. Today Karsen was adopted also, all of them are living happily with their family now. Thanks Mr. Cheang! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima – September Adoption (C1178-Kelly)!

<07-09-2016> Kelly was adopted by Ms. Wu on 7th September 2016! C1178-Kelly (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 27th April 2016, after a call from an old lady reporting that she was severely injured by her cat Kelly at home and she had to stay in hospital for two days. She took care of Kelly for two years already, but according to her Kelly was aggressive from the first beginning. She didn’t want Kelly anymore! Our rescue team arrived her apartment and found Kelly was locked inside the bathroom. In the first tentative, Kelly escaped when the door was opened. We tried again, when Kelly showed up and we got her this time! Kelly stayed with us until now. She is not aggressive at all! Thanks Ms. Wu! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima – September Rescue (1798-Juven)!

<05-09-2016> 1798-Juven (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 5th September 2016, after a Facebook message from Ms. Paula reporting that a dog was wandering outside Hac-Sa Youth Hostel. Juven had hair loss on the body and belly, and there was blood in his urine. He was sent to a clinic for consultation and he needs to stay overnight for observation. Thanks Ms. Paula! Anima – September Return (SPP1485-Hac Mui)!

<04-09-2016> Hac Mui was released on 4th September 2016! SPP1485-Hac Mui (F), was rescued by Anima on 27th June 2015, after a call from the staff of a friendly association asking us to help Hac Mui, a lump was found hanging from her stomach. She was sent to a clinic immediately for surgery. She was under our Special Protection Program since that day. On 2rd September 2016, we were informed that the appetite of Hac Mui was not good,  she was vomiting and there was pus coming out from her vulva as well. Hac Mui was sent to a clinic. She had a pyometra. She was submitted to a surgery to remove the uterus and ovaries and stayed in the clinic for few days. She was returned to her former place today. Please help us to help them!
