Anima – August Rescue (C1258-Bruno)!

<07-08-2016> C1258-Bruno (M), around two weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 7th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Mok reporting that she heard a cat mewing inside from her car when she was driving. She called Police and Fire Department to help. Burno was taken out from her car’s hood by the fireman then handed over to us. He has a dehydration and he is fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as he needs milk feeding. Thanks Ms. Mok and Zoe! Please help us to help them! Please don’t be cruel to pets! Anima – Melco Crown Macau Visited Us!

<06-08-2016> Today, 67 people visited us, 30 of them were from Melco Crown Macau! Ten bags of dog dry food and eight bags of cat dry food were donated by them. Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to July 2016, Anima received 4,185 visitors, an increase of 23.34% as compared with the same period of last year! Anima – August return (SPPC1254-Carrick)!

<06-08-2016> SPPC1254-Carrick (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 5th August 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Carrick was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. His right eye was swollen and he had ringworm infection over the body. He was fostered temporarily by our cat Supervisor Ms. Peng as he needed medication and observation. He was returned to his former place today. Michele is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Michele! Anima – August Rescue (R029-Panda)!

<06-08-2016> R029-Panda (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that a rabbit was abandoned in Amigos do Jardim Triângulo inside a cage. Panda was sent to a clinic as he was crooked in one side and he was not able to move. His left ear has infection and the left eye has dacryocystitis. He is staying in clinic for treatment now. Anima – August Rescue (1766-Yamato)!

<06-08-2016> 1766-Yamato (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th August 2016, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a dog was leashed in Largo do Matadouro and he has a severely wound on his back. Blood test showed that he has anemia and infection. He was sent to a clinic for further examination. He received a surgery to suture the wound with 15 stitches. Anima – August Rescue (C1255 to C1257)!

<06-08-2016> C1255-Peony (F), C1256-Pixie (M) and C1257-Pure (F), all around two months old, were rescued by Anima on 6th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that three kittens fell into a drain at Rua Filipe O’Costa. The kittens were rescued by Fire Department then delivered to a clinic by us. They has severe eyes infection and they need to stay overnight in the clinic for observation. Anima – August Adoption (C1229-Snowie)!

<06-08-2016> Snowie was adopted on 6th August 2016 by Ms. Laura! See how she was when we rescued her and after before adoption! C1229-Snowie (F), on the time around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Mr. Cheung reporting that a cat was found on Rua de Inácio Baptista. Her body was full of fleas. Mr. Cheung brought her to the nearby pet shop and asked if we could collect her. C1229-Snowie was brought to Anima and checked by out vet. The temperature was low, she was skinny and slightly dehydrated. C1229-Snowie was fostered temporarily by our cat Supervisor Ms. Ah Peng as she was not able to eat by herself. Anima – August return (SPPC976, SPPC1249)!

<05-08-2016> SPPC976-Joey (F), was under our Special Protection Program since 18th June 2015, was rescued by Anima on 17th, March 2016, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. Joey was found pregnant before spayed. She gave birth to two kittens C1198-Jocoba and C1199-Jocobina in Anima, they are going to be adopted next week. Joey was spayed already. SPPC1249-Caramel (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 3rd August 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Caramel was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. No cat flu symptoms were found through auscultation, but she had ringworm infection over the body and paws. She was staying with us for observation and medication. They are now back to a place controlled by Michele. Thanks Michele! Never Abandon your pets!
