Anima – July Adoption (1724-Kolm)!

<29-07-2016> 1724-Kolm was adopted by Mr. Elias on 29th July 2016! SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx. seven weeks old. So we on that time decided for keeping the puppies! 1724-Kolm, together with 1718-Kimon, 1719-Kennis, 1720-Kuni, 1721-Konya, 1722-Kassie, 1723-Komie, 1725-Kulee and 1726-Kerin were born on 11th May 2016. Anima – July Rescue (C1247-Bridge)!

<29-07-2016> C1247-Bridge (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 29th July 2016, after a call from a police Mr. Ng reporting that a cat was found by a resident in the Friendship Bridge. Bridge was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. There were a lot of bite marks and minor wounds on his body. He is under our observation now. Thanks Mr. Ng! Please help us to help them! Anima – Hou Kong Middle School Visited Us!

<28-07-2016> Today, 34 people visited us, 29 of them were from Hou Kong Middle School! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to June 2016, Anima received 3,672 visitors, an increase of 23.93% as compared with the same period of last year! July Rescue and New SPP (SPPC1246-Old Maddie)!

<28-07-2016> SPPC1246-Old Maddie (F), around ten years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 28th July 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Old Maddie was getting slimmer and she refused to eat recently. She was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. She has gingivitis, her gums were inflamed and reddish. Some part of her hair was missing, her ears were dirty also. She is staying with us under close observation and medication until recover. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! July SPP Dog Return to the Site (SPP1760-Hac Mui III)!

<27-07-2016> SPP1760-Hac Mui III (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chui reporting that a dog entered in a construction site of Ilha Verde since two months ago and she was found in heat. Hac Mui III was sent to a clinic for pregnancy ultrasound exam and the result showed negative. She was spayed and she had been staying in the clinic for few days. <27-07-2016> Minco was adopted by Nicole on 27th July 2016! C1163-Maddie (F), two years old, was rescued by Anima on 16th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a pregnant cat was found in Toi San and her belly was getting bigger. C1170-Minco, together with C1167-Mattie, C1168-Mecifer, C1169-Migget, C1171-Marcy and C1172-Mayton were born by Maddie in shelter on 19th April 2016. Minco stayed with us until now. Thanks Nicole! Anima – July Adoption (C1209-Sirus)!

<27-07-2016> Sirus was adopted by Mr. Giga on 27th July 2016! C1189-Sabrin (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Kou reporting that she found a pregnant cat at R. de Joao de Araujo. Her belly was very big and tense, spirit seemed good, but the ears were dirty. C1209-Sirus (M), together with C1208-Sage (M), C1210-Shahi (F), C1211-Saber (M) and C1212-Salmo (M) were born by C1189-Sabrin on 31st May 2016. Sirus stayed with us until now. Thanks Mr. Giga! Anima – July Sad News (1013-Sweet)!

<26-07-2016> 1013-Sweet (F), was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2013, after a call from our staff Ah Peng reporting that she found a dog stayed alone near New Yaohan. Sweet was adopted on 4th May 2013 but she was returned after few days because the adopter found she had epilepsy. She was sent to a clinic that confirmed epilepsy  and heart disease. Sweet was getting worse two days ago, hading seizure frequently, difficulty to breath and  became very weak. We tried our best but we still couldn’t save her. She passed away today. Sweet was a quiet, friendly and sweet girl that just wanted people to pet her. If you squat down in front of her, for sure she would come to you immediately. We all miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – July Rescue (B037-Numo)!

<25-07-2016> B037-Numo, was rescued by Anima on 25th July 2016, after a call from Mr. Choi reporting that a bird fell down from the sky onto the 4th floor of Edificio Nam Sam.
