Anima – July Sad News (B036-Ubee)!

<25-07-2016> B036-Ubee, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she found an injured bird near Vella de Mar. One of the wings was broken. Our rescue team went to collect B036-Ubee and sent to a clinic used to handle these cases. Ubee was eating well in the first beginning but started vomiting last night. Unfortunately Ubee passed away today. R.I.P. my friend! Anima – July Adoption (C1169-Migget)!

<24-07-2016> Migget was adopted by Ms. Karpova on 24h July 2016! C1169-Migget (F), together with C1167-Mattie, C1168-Mecifer, C1170-Minco, C1171-Marcy and C1172-Mayton were born on 19th April 2016 in shelter. Their mother, C1163-Maddie (F) was rescued by Anima on 16th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a pregnant cat was found in Toi San and her belly was getting bigger. Anima – July Adoption (L001 and L002)!

<23-07-2016> Toby and Lucy were adopted on 23rd July by Mr. Chan! L001-Toby and L002-Lucy, together with L003-Roby, lizards, H010-Flower, an hamster, H011-Violet, H012-Poppy, both Gerbils, were rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, referring that two students Diaby and Noson, from Escola Kao Yip, rescued those animals as the school was moving to a new location and decided not to keep them anymore. Anima – July Adoption (H002, H004 and L003)!

<23-07-2016> Ham Ham, Fufu and Roby were adopted on 23rd July by Mr. Kuan! H002-Ham Ham (F) and H004-Fufu (M), together with H003-Maru (F), on the time around 4 months old, were rescued by Anima on 28th June 2016, after a call from Mr. Fong reporting that he didn’t want to keep his three hamsters because they had fleas. L003-Roby, together with L001-Toby, L002-Lucy, lizards, H010-Flower, an hamster, H011-Violet, H012-Poppy, both Gerbils, were rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, referring that two students Diaby and Noson, from Escola Kao Yip, rescued those animals as the school was moving to a new location and decided not to keep them anymore. Anima – July Rescue and New SPP (SPP1760-Hac Mui III)!

<23-07-2016> SPP1760-Hac Mui III (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chui reporting that a dog entered in the construction site of Ilha Verde since two months ago and she was found in heat. Hac Mui III was sent to a clinic for pregnancy ultrasound exam and the result showed negative. She is staying in clinic overnight and she will be spayed tomorrow. Thanks Ms. Chui! Anima – July Adoption (C1192-Citrus)!

<23-07-2016> Citrus was adopted on 23rd July by Mr. Chan! C1192-Citrus (M), on the time around three days old, was rescued by Anima on 16th May 2016, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a kitten was found at Wastewater Treatment Plant. Citrus was brought to Anima by Mr. Chan. He was checked and dewormed. He had been taking care by our staff since he was rescued as he needed milk feeding. Thanks Mr. Chan! Anima – Temporary accommodation (C1081-Chibi)!

<22-07-2016> C1081-Chibi (F) was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2015, after a call from Ms. Patrícia reporting that C1081-Chibi, a two months old kitten, was found in Estrada do Repouso the night before. Her eyes were inflamed, especially the left one, he had upper respiratory problems, nasal discharge, apathy, fever, was skinny, dehydrated and very dirty with a lot of fleas. Chibi was adopted by Mauro on 24th December 2015! Now she came temporarily for 17 days as the family is going out! During the first year of adoption every 15 days accommodation in Anima is free! July Abandonment and Rescue (C1239 to C1243)!

<22-07-2016> 1239-Handsome (M, de-sexed), C1240-B Loi (F), C1241-Playful (F), C1242-Fei Mui (F, de-sexed) and C1243-Pineapple (M, de-sexed) were rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Lou informing that she wants to abandon her nine cats. That was not the first time she tried to do that. Last time the daughter didn’t authorize. After talk she changed her mind and decided  to abandon the five most active cats promising to find a good home for the remaining. This is cruelty! Do you know that by our new law cats can be abandoned without any penalty? Do you know that the majority of animals abandoned are cats? Do you know that Anima was against this? Anima – July Rescue and Return (SPP1700-Debbie)!

<21-07-2016> SPP1700-Debbie (F), around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Mr. Kwok. SPP1700-Debbie was under our Special Protection from 17th April, 2016. She lives somewhere in Coloane with four puppies (SPP1701-Darlin, SPP1702-Delina, SPP1703-Demi and SPP1704-Dorie) and Mr. Kwok is responsible for them in that area. SPP1700-Debbie was spayed today and returned to her place after the surgery. As she has a transmissible venereal tumor, she began to have treatment once a week. After finishing the treatment, if the tumor has reduced, she will have a surgery to remove it. Thanks Mr. Kwok! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet!
