<21-07-2016> C1238-Venice (M), around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Valeriya Bogacheva reporting that she found Venice near the Venetian roundabout. Anima – July Donation from Mr. Cheung!

<21-07-2016> Today Mr. Cheung came to Anima and decided to donate to us MOP 20,000.00 telling that we are doing a good job with animals, that we are helping and keeping animals that were hurt, with three legs and injured, paying all the huge bills. Only 1608-Eemili (and the sister), that was sent by Anima to the kennel for adoption and after collected back as Eemili got severely sick,  medical care, surgery, treatment (severe diarrhea) and accommodation in a clinic for around one month and half cost us around MOP 75,000.00! He didn’t want us to take a picture with him but promised to visit us again with the family. He is still a young and gentle man! Thanks Mr. Cheung! Anima – July Rescue (H010 to H012, L001 to L003)!

<21-07-2016> H010-Flower, an hamster, H011-Violet, H012-Poppy, both Gerbils, L001-Toby, L002-Lucy, L003-Roby, lizards, were rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, referring that two students, Diaby and Noson, from Escola Kao Yip, have rescued those animals as the school was moving to a new location and decided not to keep them anymore. They ask for our help! They were all collected to Anima. It is a problem to us as we are full but we will do the maximum we can to repair the cruelty of that school that just abandoned them! With schools like that how can our kids be properly educated against cruelty and love to other species and nature? Anima – July Rescue (B036-Ubee)!

<21-07-2016> B036-Ubee, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she found an injured bird near Vella de Mar. One of the wings was broken. Our rescue team went to collect B036-Ubee and sent to a clinic used to handle these cases. Ubee is being cared by our staff  Mr. Alvin day and night! Thanks Ms. Wong and Alvin! Anima – Donation from Estrela do Mar School!

<20-07-2016> Anima was invited to participate on 8th July 2016, in the event E-Memory, organized by the students of the School Estrela do Mar, in Macau. The event began at around 5:30 pm with around 100 students in the beginning, and as usual the speeches came first: by the Principal of the school, followed by our President and Ms. Paulina Luk, our Executive Director. Our messages were about animals, our code of ethics and how can they help us helping the animals! All the event was totally organized by the students with a lot of music. The net income of the event, included the moneys deposited in our donation box, all amounting MOP 2,449.90 was donated to Anima by the students’ decision! Thanks for your strong support! Anima – July Rescue and Sad News (B035-Quip)!

<20-07-2016> B035-Quip was rescued by Anima on 20th July 2016, after a call from Mr. Ao reporting that a bird was found in Sacred Heart Canossian College. Quip was not able to fly but no superficial injuries was found on the body. Quip was sent to a clinic and checked by the vet. An injection and anti-inflammatory was given to Quip. The neck of Quip was broken and the vet said that the survival rate was very low even after the medication. Unfortunately Quip passed away half an hour after arriving Anima. Thanks Mr. Ao! Anima – July Rescue and Sad News (C1237-Bean)!

<19-07-2016> C1237-Bean (M), around two weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 19th July 2016, after a call from Mr. Hau reporting that a kitten was found in a box near Edificio Ip Heng in Seac Pai Van. Bean was very weak and not moving much. He was collected to Anima and checked by our vet. His both eyes were inflamed with yellowish discharge and nasal discharge. He had been milk feeding since morning but unfortunately he passed away in the afternoon. Thanks Mr. Hau! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – July Rescue and Sad News (B034-Tappo)!

<18-07-2016> B034-Tappo was rescued by Anima on 18th July 2016, after a call from Mr. Sio reporting that a bird fell down to the water fountain near Taipa Stadium. He took Tappo out from the water but Tappo was very weak and had an injury in one leg. Tappo was sent to a clinic. Unfortunately Tappo passed away few minutes after arriving the clinic. Anima – July Adoption (C1201-Greer)!

<18-07-2016> Greer was adopted by David on 18th July 2016! C1201-Greer (M),  C1202-Gliton (M) and C1203-Gorman (M) were born by SPPC1194-Glenda on 24th May 2016. SPPC1194-Glenda (F), on the time around ten months old, was under our Special Protection Program since 18th May 2016, when she was found pregnant and brought to Anima by Michele.
