Anima – July Rescue (R028-Snowball)!

<17-07-2016> R028-Snowball (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Hoi reporting that a rabbit was found at the Observatory of Altinho de Ka-Ho. Ms. Hoi found her running near the cars in a car park and called us for help. Snowball was brought to shelter and had a body check. She is staying now with our two rabbits that are already neutered waiting for for her spay! Thanks Ms. Hoi! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – July Adoption (C643-Antos)!

<17-07-2016> Antos was adopted by Mr. Ao on 17th July 2016! C643-Antos (M), together with C641-Anika (F) and C642-Andrea (F), were born by C639-Cheong Ming in shelter on 9th February 2014. The mother Cheong Ming  rescued on 6th February 2014 near Bras da Rosa  was already pregnant. We picked her up to Anima for  giving birth. Today Antos was adopted! Thanks Mr. Ao! <16-07-2016> Today, 32 people visited us, 18 of them were from Sheng Kung Hui Taipa Youth Service Team! Thanks for your strong support! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! Anima – July Adoption (C1220-Ribena)!

<16-07-2016> Ribena was adopted by Ms. Tam on 16th July 2016! C1220-Ribena (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan around 11:30 pm reporting that a cat, C1220-Ribena, was found in the car park of Tong Wa San Chun and was not able to move. She was sent by Anima immediately to a clinic for an X-ray, and stayed there overnight for observation. She was recovered and now was adopted! Thanks Ms. Tam! Please help us to help them! Anima – July Adoption (C1206-Vick)!

<16-07-2016> Vick was adopted by Mr. Chan on 16th July 2016! C1206-Vick (M) and C1207-Viggo (M), one month and  three weeks old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on 27th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that two kittens were abandoned in a container outside Paróquia de Fátima in  Macau. We picked them up and they were checked by our vet. They were weak, skinny and dehydrated. Viggo was in worst situation as he had fleas all over his body and hypothermia. Both of them were taken care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as they needed milk feeding. Now Vick was adopted! Thanks Mr. Chan! Please help us to help them! Please adopt and never buy! Anima – Donation from Birmingham Greyhound Protection!

Anima has received a donation of GBP 200 (equivalent to MOP 2,124.00) from Birmingham Greyhound Protection, a group of animal rights’ activists in Great Britain fighting for the protection of greyhounds against the cruelty of the tracks, where thousands of animals are killed every year. Birmingham Greyhound Protection is a closed group with 5,643 members and Anima was invited to be one of them! They had an auction where two pictures made by the local artist Caroline Hazell were sold. Birmingham Greyhound Protection will help us to re-home the greyhounds of Macau if Canidrome is willing to give them to us. Anima has requested the Macau Chief Executive and the Secretary for Economics and Financial Affairs to help us in this demand once the Canidrome is closed as we all in Macau and internationally expect!
