Rum was now adopted by Ms. Chi! SPPC1128-Maxi was rescued in Taipa on 19th February and was found pregnant before the de-sex surgery on 25th February. Anima – July Rescue (C1227-Tenney)!

C1227-Tenney (M), around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd July 2016, after a call from Mr. Yung reporting that a kitten, C1227-Tenney, entered in a car shop at Rua Três do Bairro da Areia Preta. We set up a cat trap inside the car shop yesterday and C1227-Tenney was caught this morning. He is now with us and nobody will complain if he “poo and pee” everywhere! He was hungry! Thanks Mr. Yung! Anima – July Rescue (B031-Monchichi)!

B021-Monchichi, still a baby bird, was rescued by Anima on 1st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a baby bird was found in Caminho da Povoação de Cheok Ka this morning. She asked us to help. B031-Monchichi was fostered temporarily by Alvin, our staff, as he is still young and can not eat by himself. It will be very difficult for him to survive! Anima – We have visited the Macau Portuguese School!

Anima has visited on 30th June 2016, at 10:00 am, the Macau Portuguese School (Escola Portuguesa de Macau) invited by Prof. Zélia de Oliveira Baptista. The kids have organized an event in May and have collected a donation to Anima. We agreed to pay a visit to them with four of our animals to collect the donation and to thank all of them for this precious support. It was a nice event where the kids show their love to the animals, and a good perception about the rights of the animals! Thank you Prof. Zélia, all teachers that joint us and all kids that enjoyed the experience! Thank you for trusting us and supporting our work! Anima – Magazine Bridges Umac, Spring 2016!!

On 10th March 2016, three students from the University of Macau came to interview our president regarding the work of Anima! Now they published their work in the magazine Bridges Umac Spring 2016, Art of Happiness! Thanks for your strong support! Anima – June Rescue (1756-Canaan)!

1756-Canaan (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a puppy was found in a carton box in a construction site of MGM, completed wet, shaking and barely moving. We picked up Canaan and she was checked by our vet. Parvovirus  and Distemper tests were  both negative. She had difficulty in breathing and the gums were pale and the  right eye was blind. We suspected she was hit by a car. She was sent to a clinic for further consultation and examination. Blood test showed she is anemic. She is staying in clinic under IV dripping now and an X-ray will be done afterwards. Thanks Ms. Chan! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – June Rescue (1755-Rainie)!

1755-Rainie (F), around six years old, was rescued by our president Mr. Albano on 28th June 2016. Rainie was found wandering under the pouring rain in the middle of the road in Altinho de Ka-Ho. All  trucks and cars stopped as she was completely disoriented,  wet and scared. Mr. Albano picked her up to his car and sent to Anima. Rainie was checked by our vet and dewormed, no microchip was found on her. She will stay with us and will be socialized with our dogs later. Thanks Mr. Albano! Please help us to help them!
