Anima – June Rescue (SPPC1160-Velvet)!

SPPC1160-Velvet (F), around two years old, that was under our Special Protection Program from 14th April 2016,  was brought to Anima by Michele on 28th June 2016, after a call from her reporting that Velvet was found severely dehydrated and apathetic. She has Gingivitis and the gums were inflamed. Her right front limb was limping as well, showing pain when being touched. Velvet is staying in Anima under IV dripping now. Thanks Ms. Michele! Anima – June Rescue and New Cat under SPP (SPPC1226-Elsa)!

SPPC1226Elsa (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 28th June 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Her body was full of fleas. She was checked by our vet and dewormed. Anima – June Sad News (SPP1754-Boy)!

SPP1754-Boy (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 25th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that a puppy, SPP1754-Boy, now under our Special Protection Program was abandoned by the owner in Taipa near a place where we have two people working for us helping tens of dogs. Boy has severe attacks of epilepsy. He has been checked in one clinic but the prescription was not being effective. So, we decided to move to another clinic where he stayed overnight for observation. Boy went in suffer and after the vet favorable opinion and two board members we decided to put in sleeping! R.I.P my friend! Please don’t be cruel! Anima – June return (SPPC1128-Maxi)!

SPPC1128-Maxi and SPPC1129-Smokey, around nine months old, under our Special Protection Program from 19th February 2016, were rescued by Anima on that day, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. Maxi was neutered and stayed with us up to now. He is now back to a place controlled by Michele, a real Angel for the colonies of cats! Thanks Michele! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – June Adoption (1695-Wawa)!

1695-Wawa (F) was rescued by Anima on 1st April 2016, after a call from Mr. Chiu reporting that 1695-Wawa was found in his working place somewhere in Coloane, on that morning. According to Mr. Chiu, it is rare to see a small size dog in that area as most of the dogs living there are medium or large size, so she was probably abandoned. No microchip was found in Wawa. Minky was adopted by Ms. Lei on 26th June 2016! C1144-Macky and C1145-Minky were rescued by Anima on 27th March 2016, after a call from Ms. Pang reporting that she caught C1144-Macky and C1145-Minky in Mercado de S. Anima – June Rescue and Return (S011-Greenie)

S011-Greenie, a bamboo snake entered in Anima and was rescued by our staff. Anima receives sometimes this kind of visitors and our job is to help them to return to a safety place. Last time was on 28 May 2016, when we received a visit from S010-Urian. She was immediately put in the mountain nearby like Greenie now. If you know animals in suffer or in risk, please call us! Anima – June abandonment in Anima (1674-Jasper)!

1674-Jasper was adopted on 10th April 2016 and abandoned now in Anima! 1671-Jacker, 1672-Joggi, 1673-Joseph, 1674-Japer, 1675-Jotty with the mother SPP1676-Josha were rescued by Anima on 13th March 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheng reporting that SPP1676-Josha, around four years old, under our Special Protection Program, with her five puppies, all around three weeks old, were found in a construction site somewhere in Coloane. According to Ms. Cheng, the place was dangerous for the dogs due to the bad weather and the living condition, so she asked us to help. Our rescue team went to the site and found the puppies hiding inside a huge pipe. The puppies were taken out from the pipe and the mother 1676-Josha was rescued as well. Jasper was adopted on 10th April and was now returned as the adopter refers that he is not clean at home! Animals must go out home for playtime...
