Anima – June Sad News (SPPC1109-Phedra)!
SPPC1109-Phedra (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 20th January 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that a cat was found with a nose injury somewhere in Taipa. Phedra’s nostril got crusted and her tongue was injured as well. Auscultation indicated heart problem (arrhythmias). Some teeth was missing and most of them were worn. We were keeping an eye on her! She was getting worse and was sent to two clinics for second and third opinion. The crust of her nose was falling off, it was a big hole and the bone was totally exposed. The necrosis was so bad that could even see through the upper palate. According to the vet, the hole of her nose was getting bigger despite the chemotherapy, and her eyes could barely opened.
