Anima – June Rescue (B029-Aimon)!

B029-Aimon was rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2016, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a bird was found unable to fly in Parque Industrial da Concórdia. Aimon was sent to a clinic immediately and will stay there temporarily.. After recovery will be put free! Thanks Mr. Wong! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – June Sad News (C554-Angel)!

C554-Angel (F) was rescued on 28th July 2013 and died today! Angel was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Liu reporting that the stray cat used to feed by her was found pregnant. We picked her up to Anima. Angel had Renal Failure, the kidneys had been shutting down. She was refusing to eat  and got severely dehydrated. We tried our best but still couldn’t save her. She died this morning! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – June Sad News (B028-Ece)!

Ece passed away on 1st June 2016! B028-Ece was rescued by Anima on 31st May 2016, after a call from Ms. Si reporting that a bird was found injured in Rua de Fernão Mendes Pinto. The left eye of Ece couldn’t open and Ece couldn’t fly as well. Our rescue team sent Ece to a clinic. According to the vet, the left eye problem seemed to be caused by virus but was unable to identity. Ece was staying in clinic and  passed away this morning around 8am. The  cause of death was unknown. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – May Rescue and Sad News (1733-Vica)!

1733-Vica (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima already dead after a call from Mr. Chui reporting that a dog was found vomiting blood and bleeding from the head in Macau Stadium. She was lying and panting on the floor. Vica passed away after we arrived. No staff of Macau Stadium knew what happened and how she entered there. The dogs rarely enter that area. C1202-Gliton (M) was born on 24th May 2016 and died today! SPPC1194-Glenda (F), around ten months old,  under our Special Protection Program since 18th May 2016,  was found pregnant and brought to Anima by Michele. New Born and Sad News (C1208 to C1212)!

C1189-Sabrin (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Kou reporting that she found a pregnant cat at Rua de João de Araújo. Sabrin was picked up by our rescue team and checked by our vet. Her belly was very big and tense, the spirit seemed good, but the ears were dirty. She gave birth to C1208-Sage (M), C1209-Sirus (M), C1210-Shahi (F), C1211-Saber (M) and C1212-Salmo (M) today, 31st  May 2016!. Unfortunately Sage was found dead this morning! Welcome to this world! Anima – May Rescue and New SPP (SPP1731, SPP1732)!

SPP1731-Fay (F) and SPP1732-Fern (M), both around 1.5 years old, were rescued by Anima on 30th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Rebecca reporting that some dogs in Coloane needed to transfer to another place. According to Ms. Rebecca, there were eight dogs in the site, being Mr. Cheong the person  responsible for them in that area. Ms. Rebecca found a place to keep all of them. Today Fay and Fern were caugh. They were neutered already. Mr. Cheong will keep trying to catch all of them and move them to that safety place. Fay and Fern are under our Special Protection Program now. Thanks Ms. Rebecca and Mr. Cheong! Never abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Please do not be cruel! Animals have rights! Fundraising for Homeless Animals – Welfare Dinner!

The 2016 Fundraising for Homeless Animals Campaign – Ludwig’s Fund,  has ended with a welfare dinner held by Anima's Committee for the Special Protection Programme (SPP) on Friday 20th May 2016, at 7:30 pm in a restaurant in Taipa. The lucky draw of the 10 most expensive prizes happened during the dinner, as well as the auction of valuable offers for this 9th Fundraising for Homeless Animals event, coordinated by Gina Rangel, Anima Board member and founder. All money raised in this campaign will go toward Ludwig’s Fund for helping homeless animals.
