Anima – April Sad News (C1156-Shane)!

C1156-Shane (F) was rescued on 10th April 2016 and died today! C1156-Shane was rescued by Anima after a facebook message from Ms. Ng. According to Ms. Ng, she used to feed C1156-Shane in Patane but C1156-Shane had disappeared for a long period of time. When she showed up again, she was dehydrated and very weak. Ms. Ng sent C1156-Shane to a clinic for treatment and intended to return her to former place after recovery and de-sex surgery. But the doctor said it would take a month for C1156-Shane to fully recover. It was beyond Ms. Ng’s budget expectation and she could not afford the hospitalization fee. We picked up C1156-Shane and transferred her to another clinic for observation. She was under IV Dripping. Unfortunately was too late to save her. She died today! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – April Rescue (1707-Moppy)!

1707-Moppy (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, informing that 1707-Moppy was found near Jockey Club and seems hurt. 1707-Moppy seems not moving well and was soaked under the rain. 1707-Moppy was collected by Anima and no microchip was found. Unfortunately her tail was out of the big cage we have for animals in quarantine (we have no other way to keep them temporarily, even if they have play times during the day) and she was beaten by other dogs and had to go to a clinic for surgery. Many people ask us to help, we are happy to do the best for the animals but we have no safe spaces for them! Anima – April Rescue (B024-Piggo)!

B024-Piggo (F), around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 19th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Melisia, informing that she found a Zebra Dove in front of School of Nations unable to move or fly. Our rescue team went there and collected B024-Piggo. As B024-Piggo is still young, she can only walk a little and does not know how to fly and feed alone. It will be difficult to survive on that age! Anima – April Rescue (1706-Parco)!

1706-Parco (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Man, informing that 1706-Parco was found tied near a garbage room on Rua de Sacadura Cabral. She has stayed there for over half an hour but nobody appeared to get 1706-Parco. Our rescue team went to the location, no microchip was found on 1706-Parco, and he was skinny. Anima – April Information about animals (SPP1705-Darcey)!

SPP1705-Darcey (M) seems blind! SPP1705-Darcey (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Kwok. SPP1705-Darcy is now under our Special Protection Program with his mother SPP1700-Debbie (F) and the siblings SPP1701-Darlin (F), SPP1702-Delina (F), SPP1703-Demi (F) and SPP1704-Dorie (F). They are living in Coloane and Mr. Kwok is responsible for them. SPP1705-Darcy refused to eat since yesterday and seems sick! Our rescue team collected SPP1705-Darcy and sent to a clinic. A distemper test was run and the result indicated NEGATIVE. SPP1705-Darcy stayed in a clinic overnight for observation and it was detected that he may be totally blind! Anima – April Sad News (C667-Dinah)!

C667-Dinah was rescued by Anima in Guia, on 7th March 2014, after a call from Ms. Wong. She was sick and Ms. Wong took her to a clinic and to Anima. She died today, almost two years after being rescued! She survived many virus crisis in Anima. Please believe us, shelters are not a safe place for cats especially if they live as free as they live with Anima! Once we detect a virus, it has already spread around, killing afterwards, tens of other animals! However, we refuse to have animals jailed forever as happens in Macau in a local animal welfare association! This is insane and cruelty! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Rescue (1709-Poca)!

1709-Poca (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Wu, informing that 1709-Poca was in the ditch near the Communications Museum. The ditch was too deep for 1709-Poca to jump out of it, so Ms. Wu asked for our help. Our rescue team went to the location to bring 1709-Poca out and collected her to Anima as that area was too dangerous for a dog and we don’t know if she has owner. No microchip was found.
