1715-Risona (F), around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd May 2016, after a call from Ms. Lora reporting that a puppy was found under the gap of a recycle bin in Hac Sa. Anima – May Sad News (C1162-Raziya)!

C1162-Raziya (F) was rescued by Anima  on 15th April 2016 and died today! Raziya, on the time around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a kitten was found in Red Market. Raziya was sent to clinic for consultation on 25th April due to vomiting. She also started having diarrhea in the clinic, was dehydrated and has malnutrition. She was under IV dripping and stayed in the clinic for observation. Her blood sugar had started to maintain on 27th April but the diarrhea was not improving. We were informed by the clinic that Raziya passed away at the midnight on 1st May. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – May Adoption (SPP1705-Darcey)!

Darcey was adopted by Ms. Ieong on 1st May 2016! SPP1705-Darcey (M), on the time around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Kwok. SPP1705-Darcy was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) with his mother SPP1700-Debbie (F) and the siblings SPP1701-Darlin (F), SPP1702-Delina (F), SPP1703-Demi (F) and SPP1704-Dorie (F). They were living in Coloane and Mr. Kwok is responsible for them. SPP1705-Darcy refused to eat since 16th April and seemed sick! Our rescue team collected SPP1705-Darcy and sent to a clinic. A distemper test was run and the result indicated NEGATIVE. SPP1705-Darcy was staying in the clinic overnight for observation. After that he stayed with our supervisor Ms. Zoe until he was adopted. Anima – May Rescue (C1187-Jirina)!

C1187-Jirina (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 1st May 2016, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a kitten was found in Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga two days ago. According to Ms. Lei, there was one adult cat stayed with Jirina in the same area, but the cat was killed by a car. Probably she was her mother. We collected Jirina to Anima. Anima – University of Macau Visited Us!

Today, 79 people visited us, 24 of them were students from University of Macau! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to March 2016, Anima received 1,918 visitors, an increase of 8.61% as compared with the same period of last year! The number of groups visiting us increased 21.43% to 17 groups! Anima – April Rescue (C1184 to C1186)!

C1184-Pink (F), C1185-Piritta (F) and C1186-Peer (M), around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 30th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Yung reporting that three kittens were found in a cartoon box in Rua 2 (two) of Iao Hon. C1184-Pink, C1185-Piritta and C1186-Peer were checked by our vet and de-wormed. They are being taken care by our Supervisor temporarily as they still need milk. Thanks Ms. Yung and Ms. Zoe! Anima – April Adoption (1708-Chigi)!

Chigi was adopted on 30th April 2016 by Mr. Chan! 1708-Chigi (F) was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, when she around three years old, after a call from Ms. Lo, informing that a Chihuahua, 1708-Chigi, was found at the pistol training area in Security Forces Training College. Anima – April Adoption (1692-Luce)!

Luce was now adopted by Ms. Boney! 1692-Luce (M), was rescued by Anima on 29th March 2016, when he was around 15 days old, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that 1692-Luce was found in the gutter on the roadside near Grand Coloane. No adult dogs or other puppies were seen around the area at the moment. He was fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as he needed milk every three hours, day and night. Thanks Ms. Boney!
