Anima – April Information about animals (SPP1705-Darcey)!

SPP1705-Darcey (M) seems blind! SPP1705-Darcey (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Kwok. SPP1705-Darcy is now under our Special Protection Program with his mother SPP1700-Debbie (F) and the siblings SPP1701-Darlin (F), SPP1702-Delina (F), SPP1703-Demi (F) and SPP1704-Dorie (F). They are living in Coloane and Mr. Kwok is responsible for them. SPP1705-Darcy refused to eat since yesterday and seems sick! Our rescue team collected SPP1705-Darcy and sent to a clinic. A distemper test was run and the result indicated NEGATIVE. SPP1705-Darcy stayed in a clinic overnight for observation and it was detected that he may be totally blind! In such situation he will not go back to his family and will have all our care in Anima! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – April Sad News (C667-Dinah)!

C667-Dinah was rescued by Anima in Guia, on 7th March 2014, after a call from Ms. Wong. She was sick and Ms. Wong took her to a clinic and to Anima. She died today, almost two years after being rescued! She survived many virus crisis in Anima. Please believe us, shelters are not a safe place for cats especially if they live as free as they live with Anima! Once we detect a virus, it has already spread around, killing afterwards, tens of other animals! However, we refuse to have animals jailed forever as happens in Macau in a local animal welfare association! This is insane and cruelty! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Rescue (1709-Poca)!

1709-Poca (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Wu, informing that 1709-Poca was in the ditch near the Communications Museum. The ditch was too deep for 1709-Poca to jump out of it, so Ms. Wu asked for our help. Our rescue team went to the location to bring 1709-Poca out and collected her to Anima as that area was too dangerous for a dog and we don’t know if she has owner. No microchip was found. She was de-wormed! Thanks Ms. Wu! Many people ask us to help and we are happy to do the best for the animals but we have no safe spaces for them! Anima – April Rescue (1708-Chigi)!

1708-Chigi (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Lo, informing that a Chihuahua, 1708-Chigi, was found at the pistol training area in Security Forces Training College. She may have a hernia. No microchip was found. She was de-wormed! Thanks Ms Lo! Many people ask us to help and we are happy to do the best for the animals but we have no safe spaces for them! Today three dogs were rescued in very extreme dangerous situations and we are inventing spaces for them! Please be active and help us instead of only complain! Anima – April Rescue (C1166-Alle)!

C1166-Alle (F), around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that he found C1166-Alle hiding under the engine of his motorcycle in Patane. He took C1166-Alle out and delivered her to Anima. She was covered with engine oil and full of fleas. C1166-Alle was washed, checked and dewormed! Thanks Mr. Leong! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Rescue (C1165-Cowie)!

C1165-Cowie (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that there was a cat always coming from the terrace of the building where she lives. We lent a container to Mr. Chui living on 5th floor and used to feed the cats in terrace. Mr. Chui caught it and the cat, C1165-Cowie, is now in Anima. C1165-Cowie was checked and de-wormed. Anima – April Rescue (C1164-Kaspar)!

C1164-Kaspar (M), around 20 days old, was rescued by Anima on 16th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Chao reporting that a kitten, C1164-Kaspar was found in Rua dos Colonos and he is very weak. C1164-Kaspar was checked and dewormed. He has Upper Respiratory Infection and Conjunctivitis. C1164-Kaspar will take care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as he still needs milk feeding.
