Anima – April Adoption (C1154-Akoni)!

Akoni was now adopted by Gracinda! C1154-Akoni (M) was rescued by Anima on 8th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Leonor yesterday, reporting that there was a cat mother with two kittens (around 1.5 months old) somewhere near a restaurant in Coloane. According to Ms. Leonor, there were four kittens before but the mother always hide the kittens under the raining water channels. Two kittens were drowned and died on the previous Monday after the heavy rain and Ms. Leonor was worried about the rest of them. C1154-Akoni was cared by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Ah Peng temporarily as he needs milk feeding. We have set up the trap again to catch the other siblings and the mother, with the support of the staff from the restaurant! Thanks Mrs. Gracinda! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Adoption (C1126-Cansley)!

Cansley was now adopted by Ana. C1126-Cansley, around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 18th February 2016, after a call from Ms. Vanessa reporting that a female cat was found shaking, with a big belly and skin problems on the street somewhere in Macau on 15th February 2015. Our rescue team have gone to the site and found the female cat and two other kittens in a car park nearby. According to an employee of the car park, the cats had been living inside the car park together since a week ago. He asked us to collect the cats and we set up a cat trap there. C1122-Crackie and the mother, C1123-Cintia were rescued to Anima on 15th and 16th Feb. Cansley was rescued and adopted by Ana on 30th April 2016! Thanks Ms. Ana! Please Adopt and Never buy! Temporary Accommodation (1625-Wallace)!

See Wallace now and when he was rescued! 1625-Wallace adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016 is now accommodated in Anima for three days until the 1st of May. He is staying in A7 now. 1625-Wallace, 1626-Walmond and 1627-Wardell, all two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016, after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that they were alone, as several mothers in a construction site were caught by IACM. Those puppies had to go to Anima as the Pets Shop contacted by Ms. Ian could not feed them night time! Wallace was adopted by Mr. Carneiro on 13th February 2016! Thanks Mr. Mário! New Cats rescued under SPP (SPPC1179 to SPPC1183)!

Three kittens, SPPC1179-Dabria, SPPC1180-Dada and SPPC1181-Davian, all around one month old, and two male cats, SPPC1182-Dayton, around two years old, and SPPC1183-Fatty, around six years old, were rescued by Anima on 29th April 2016, through Michele, and are now under our Special Protection Program. They live somewhere in Taipa and Michele is responsible for them. They were checked and dewormed. SPPC1179-Dabria, SPP1180-Dada and SPPC1181-Davian have an infection in the eyes and Michele will take care of them. SPPC1182-Dayton has cat flu and will stay in Anima B14 area, temporarily for the treatment. SPPC1183-Fatty received the first vaccination today. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Rescue and Return (SPP1651-Linna)!

SPP1651-Linna (F), around two years old, together with SPP1646-Lambo (M), SPP1647-Laggon (F), SPP1648-Languid (M), SPP1649-Lafone (F) and SPP1650-Limona (F), on the time around one month old were under our Special Protection Program from the 4th of February 2016. They live in a construction site somewhere in Coloane, and Mrs. Yuen was responsible for them in that area. We support them with food, de-sex surgery and vaccination. Anima – April Rescue (SPPC981-Robert)!

SPPC981-Robert (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. SPPC981-Robert lived scared since some dogs nearby his place have killed many cats. He used to escape to the ceiling of the buildings or to the draining system. Now Robert doesn’t need anymore to run for his life! Anima – University of Macau Visited Us!

Today, 18 people visited us, six of them were students from University of Macau! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to March 2016, Anima received 1,918 visitors, an increase of 8.61% as compared with the same period of last year! The number of groups visiting us increased 21.43% to 17 groups! Anima – April Rescue (C1178-Kelly)!

C1178-Kelly (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 27th April 2016, after a call from an old lady reporting that she was severely injured by her cat Kelly at home and she had to stay in hospital for two days. She took care of Kelly for two years already, but according to her Kelly was aggressive from the first beginning. She doesn’t want Kelly anymore! Our rescue team arrived her apartment and found Kelly  locked inside the bathroom. In the first tentative, Kelly escaped when the door was opened.
