March Accommodation of cat under SPP(SPPC1079-Patton)!

SPPC1079-Patton was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that SPP1079-Patton was found swollen with a wound on the right cheek. Michele, our volunteer of Anima and responsible for the SPP of cats, brought him to Anima. A hole was found in his mouth, the ears are dirty and the gums were red and inflamed. According to Michele, Patton was probably bitten by the dogs in the area as there were several dogs attacking cats recently. Patton is staying with us for medical treatment. Thanks Michele! Anima – March Rescue and New SPP Cat (SPPC1138-Anjos)!

SPPC1138-Anjos, around four years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that Anjos was found skinny, weak and dehydrated somewhere in Taipa. Anjos has skin lesions and hair loss on the back, especially the right limb was red and round. Anjos is staying with us temporarily and Michele will be responsible for him in the area. Anima – March Rescue (C1137-Bosso)!

C1137-Bosso, three years old, was rescued by Anima after a call  reporting that  Bosso was fighting with  other cat at home. On 23rd December 2015, we were contacted by the same owner asking us to collect his two cats as they were always attacking his older cat, C1137-Bosso. We collected one of the two cats, C1090-Shadie at that time. The owner contacted us later referring that C1137-Bosso and the other cat were not fighting anymore. Today, the owner took C1137-Bosso to Anima and told us that Bosso was fighting with the other cat again. Very strange as Bosso was always atacked by the other cat! Even disagreeing, we decided to collect Bosso just like happened with Shadie as the family was not able to handle the situation and one the members is sick! Anima – March Rescue (C1136-Mink)!

C1136-Mink, around three years old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ng reporting that a cat went inside his store somewhere in Macau and he was not able to catch the cat. Anima – Pumpkin, Papaya and Kiwi Need New Homes!

Please help Pumpkin, Papaya and Kiwi! Mr. Ng found a litter of seven puppies in a construction site somewhere in Taipa. He rescued three of them but the other four puppies with the mother are still in the site and they are difficult to approach. Pumpkin, Papaya and Kiwi are around two months old, two males and a female. Please understand that Anima is completely out of space, but we will provide them food and medical care. 1569-Macchi was born with 1566-Cappu, 1567-Latte, 1568-Bica, 1570-Mokka and 1571-Presso by 1548-Katie on 28th October 2015. Katie was pregnant and rescued by Anima on 14th October 2015, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that Katie was living in a construction site that will begin to be redeveloped. Anima – February Return and Relocation (T007-Ulla)!

T007-Ulla was returned from the foster family and relocated in a friendly association today. T007-Ulla was rescued by Anima on 13th December 2015, after a call from Ms. Mr. Frank, from a casino site, reporting that T007-Ulla was found by a visitor, Mr. Wang, outside the casino. According to Ms. Wang, the turtle was hit by a motorcycle and she was injured. T007-Ulla was fostered since 12th February 2016. As we have an agreement with a friendly association, they received Ulla. Ulla is living there with other turtles. Thanks! Please help us to help them! Anima – Escola Santa Rosa De Lima has visited us!

Today 40 people visited us, 16 were students from Escola Santa Rosa De Lima (English Section)! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! 61 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us in 2015! In January of 2016, the total number of visitors increased by 12% and the total number of groups increased by 80% comparing with last year! Anima – February Rescue (SPP1643-Toner)!

SPP1643-Toner was rescued by Anima  with an eye infection. Toner became our SPP dog since 27th January 2016 and he lives somewhere in Coloane under our responsibility. Toner was sent to a clinic for a consultation and he was diagnosed with tick fever. Toner is temporarily staying with us for observation and treatments. Please help us to help them!
