Anima – February Rescue (B023-Beacon)!

B023-Beacon was rescued after a call from Ms. Ho reporting that a bird was found injured in Rua da Restauracao and she asked us to help. Our rescue team went to collect Beacon and sent it to a clinic. Beacon, around three weeks old, was not able to fly as it was too young and injured. Beacon will stay overnight at the clinic for treatment and observation. Thanks Ms. Ho! Anima – February New SPP (SPP1646 to SPP1651)!

SPP1646-Lambo (M); SPP1647-Lagoon (M); SPP1648-Languid (M), SPP1649-Lafone (F) and SPP1650-Limona (F), around one month old, and the mother, SPP1651-Linna, around two years old, are under our Special Protection Program now. They live in a construction site somewhere in Coloane, and the volunteer, Mrs. Yuen is responsible for them in that area. Anima – February Adoption (1568-Bica)!

1568-Bica was born with 1566-Cappu, 1567-Latte, 1569-Macchi, 1570-Mokka and 1571-Presso by 1548-Katie on 28th October 2015. Katie was pregnant and rescued by Anima on 14th October 2015, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that Katie was living in a construction site that was going to be redeveloped. Anima – February Adoption (C989-Tobin)!

C989-Tobin was rescued with C988-Tisha by Anima on 27th June 2015 after a call from Ms. Koo and Ms. Lee. They were afraid the cats would be poisoned in the area. If we have no law for protecting animals, this kind of cruelty will not be punished! Tobin was diagnosed with Upper Respiratory Infection which caused to an eye infection. Anima – February Return to Anima (1536-Paisley)!

Paisley was returned to Anima by the adopter! 1536-Paisley was rescued with 1535-Paiman, 1537-Pal, 1538-Palmer, 1539-Paloma, 1540-Paola and 1541-Parisa, four males and three females on 29th September 2015, after a call from Mr. Ho, regarding seven puppies, around two weeks old, that were born in a construction site and the mother was not properly feeding them. Paisley was adopted on 12th November 2015 and now returned. According to the adopter, Paisley was always biting things and people. According to him, his wife was bitten by Paisley yesterday and bled a lot and as his son has a heart disease and he is taking anticoagulant, it could be dangerous if he was bitten. Anima – February Rescue and Sad News (1645-Kassy)!

1645-Kassy was rescued by Anima after our rescue team found the dead body of her somewhere in Coloane. There was no apparent injury on her body but small amount of blood came out from the vagina and diarrhea from the anus. Kassy was not under our supervision and was the first time we saw her! The dead body of Kassy was delivered to IACM. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Adoption (R023 to R025)!

R023-Grabby was found in a cage abandoned outside Anima on 26th January 2015 with one bag of rabbit food near the cage. R024-Rayna was rescued by Anima on 16th March 2015 after a call from Dr. Francisco reporting that Rayna was found abandoned in Avenida Sidonio Pais in front of Green Cross Macau. R025-Coffee was rescued by Anima on 12th July 2015 after a call from a community member informing that he could not take care of his son’s rabbit anymore as he had allergy. His son bought the rabbit from a pet shop few years ago and he had immigrated to the United States. Today, Grabby, Rayna and Coffee were all adopted by Ms. Shen.
