Anima – January Rescue (C1108-Wafery)!

C1108-Wafery was rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Miu reporting that a cat was found dying in Patio da Palha. Wafery was sent to a clinic immediately by Anima. According to the vet, Wafery is full of fleas, and he has bad smells from his mouth. The blood test result showed that he has pancreas failure with anemia. Wafery is a male around 2 years old. He is now staying with us. Thanks Mrs. Miu! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Adoption (C1050-Dobby)!

C1050-Dobby was rescued by Anima on 13th October 2015  after a call from Mr. Ng reporting that a kitten, around three months old, was found in a construction site near Templo de Pou Tai Un in Taipa. Dobby had severe skin problems and eye infection. Dobby is well recovered and very bright and active now. Both eyes are fine and hair has grown back. Today, Dobby was adopted by Mr. Leslie! Oreo, Toffee, Chocolate and Popcorn Need New Families!

The owner of Oreo, Toffee, Chocolate and Popcorn has seven  dogs and he wants to give us four of them. All dogs were supposed to be given to adopters when they were puppies, but the owner’s mother was not willing to give them away at that time. We totally disagree with such decision but we want the best for those dogs. For us this is an abandonment! Oreo is a 1.5-year-old female Border Collie, vaccinated and not spayed yet. 1570-Mokka was born with 1566-Cappu, 1567-Latte, 1568-Bica, 1569-Macchi and 1571-Presso by 1548-Katie on 28th October 2015. Katie was pregnant and rescued by Anima on 14th October 2015, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that Katie was living in a construction site that will begin to be redeveloped. C1107-Adon was rescued by Anima after a call from Ah Peng reporting that the dead body of Adon was found in Patio da Fortuna. Adon was a 3-month-old male. We are not sure if Adon was hit by a car. Anima – January Rescue (C1102 to C1106)!

The mother, C1102-Kanta with four kittens, C1103-Karin, C1104-Kasin, C1105-Karsen and C1106-Kapuni were rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Yao reporting that Kanta and her kittens lived in a warehouse on Rua Cinco de Outubro. According to Mrs. Yao, the warehouse will be closed until March and she will have no access to give food to the cats as she always did. Anima – January Adoption (C956-Meijo)!

C956-Meijo was rescued by Anima on 27th May 2015 after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that three kittens with their mother were found in his place at Estrada do Cemiterio. Her history was a very sad history as few days after the rescue she had a severe infection in the eyes. We did the best, we took Meijo to a specialist but the eye never recovered! Anima – January Return to Family (1519-Gugi)!

1519-Gugi, a licensed animal, was temporarily accommodated in Anima for four months since 13th September 2015. The owner, Mr. Lam paid over MOP 40,000 for all the expenses for exporting him to UK,  including our little accommodation fee. Please understand that if you go back home you must begin to take care of the travel of your animal four months before you leave! Today, Gugi was picked up by a specialized export agency and delivered to Hong Kong for a flight to the United Kingdom reuniting the family. Good luck my friend! Never Abandon your pet!
