Anima – January Rescue (1623-Vamilla)!

1623-Vamilla, around two months old, was rescued outside Anima today. A lady came to Anima with Vamilla and said Vamilla was found wandering on a street in Seac Pai Van Public Housing, but her family is afraid of dogs, so she cannot keep her. There is a smell of shower when we were checking Vamilla. We are not sure that the dog didn't belong to the lady who brought her to us as she escaped very fast! Never abandon your pet! SPP1619-Hilda was rescued today because she needed to have a de-sex surgery tomorrow. She was found having high temperature (40.2C) and many ticks on her body. She was sent to a clinic for a blood test. She has tick fever and needs to have medication for at least two weeks. Hilda is staying with us in T-1 area now! Never abandon your pet! C1098-Sabah, around one year old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Lei yesterday reporting that a cat was found injured, limping with blood on the legs in Taipa Market. Sabah was sent to a clinic immediately. Her left hind leg was injured and the bone was sticking out. She stayed overnight in the clinic for observation. Thanks Ms. Lei! Never abandon your pet!
