Anima – November Adoption (1531-Jeremy)!

1530-Jerome, 1531-Jeremy, both males, 1532-Joa and 1533-Jamie, both females, all one day old, were rescued by Anima on 22nd September 2015, after a call from Mr. Zheng, regarding four puppies that were born this morning in his house by her dog, a Schnauzer. She was 15 years old and it was the seventh time she got pregnant. She had no milk at all! We consider this as irresponsibility! However, we decided to help the puppies and our Supervisor took them home to feed them every night time. Morning time they were fed in Anima headquarters by her! Today Jeremy was adopted by Ms. Lou! Anima – October Adoption (C1059-Talon)!

C1055-Tadita and C1056-Taina, both one month old, C1057-Takisha, C1058-Tadeo and C1059-Talon, all 2.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2015, after a call from Ms. Sophie reporting that five kittens were found in a plastic bag at Templo de Sam Po. Today C1059-Talon was adopted today by Ana! Thanks Ana! S008-Greenie is a snake that entered in Anima and was rescued by our staff near the cat area. Anima receives sometimes this kind of visitors and our job is to help them to return to a safety place. Happily it didn’t enter in any dog’s pen otherwise will be killed, as happened with others in the past. She was immediately put in the bush nearby. Anima –ABC NEWS AUSTRALIA visited us!

Today ABC News Australia has visited us from around 12:00 to 16:30! ABC News Australia is one of the most important TV stations of Australia and came to Macau to prepare an extensive coverage of the situation of our Greyhounds in Macau and in Australia. They also want to know better Anima that is fighting for closing the Canidrome and for the welfare of all animals in Macau. More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2015, up to the end of October, we had 4,761 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 4,549 in the same period of 2014! 47 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us! Anima –Exmoo News visited us and IACM as volunteers!

Today 13 people visited us, six were volunteers from Exmoo News! They came again to do volunteer work, this time under the supervision of our rescue team that took them to Coloane kennel where Anima handles 31 dogs, under an agreement with IACM for keeping them alive and around some areas outside Anima controlled by our team! Anima – November new SPP (1584-Hac Mui Chai)!

1584-Hac Mui Chai, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), after a group of animal lovers has written a letter to Anima asking our support. SPP1584-Hac Mui Chai, a licensed dog, around four years old, was adopted by Mr. Chor since 2013. Mr. Chor is already 83 years old and Anima was asked to help him providing food and medical care if needed. This is not the first case. We have several cases of people that can not afford such costs and as so are supported by Anima. Usually this program is only for stray animals. If you need help, please call us. Anima – November Sad News (SPP1580-Hedy)!

SPP1580-Hedy was rescued by Anima as she was sick. Hedy, under our SPP, is the daughter of SPP1577-Rada that is also under our Special Protection Program (SPP) from 13th November. Rada was found by our rescue team during the daily feeding, somewhere in Macau. She is the mother of five puppies, all also under our protection few days ago: SPP1579-Hedda, SPP1580-Hedy (now with us), SPP1581-Hanson, SPP1582-Hennie and SPP1583-Harman. As there are no people taking care of them, our rescue team is the responsible for them in the area. We are completely full otherwise all those puppies should be collected by Anima! Unfortunately Hedy didn’t survive! R.I.P. my friend! If you have capacity to adopt, please help us! Never abandon your pet! 1508-Carmela, 1509-Cletus and 1510-Caius were rescued from IACM on 12th August 2015! They were the puppies of SPP1499-Christi and they were caught by IACM one week before. As the Coloane Kennel was completely full we decided to give a chance to them adopting, even without knowing where to put them! Now 1509-Cletus was adopted by Mr. Wong! Thanks Mr. Wong!
