Anima – November Adoption (1509-Cletus)!

1508-Carmela, 1509-Cletus and 1510-Caius were rescued from IACM on 12th August 2015! They were the puppies of SPP1499-Christi and they were caught by IACM one week before. As the Coloane Kennel was completely full we decided to give a chance to them adopting, even without knowing where to put them! Now 1509-Cletus was adopted by Mr. Wong! Thanks Mr. Wong! Anima – November Sad News (SPP755-Mango)!

SPP755-Mango was rescued by Anima on 17th October 2015, after a call from Mr. Ah Seng telling that SPP755-Mango was not eating properly. SPP755-Mango was sent to a clinic for a blood test. He had tick fever and stayed with us up to now. Besides all the good job done by the clinic, Mango entered in suffer and we decided to euthanize him! Euthanasia is only allowed in Anima after a favorable opinion of a vet and the approval of two Board of Directors’ members, being the president the last one. Sometimes the president asks for a second vet opinion before the final decision is taken! R.I.P my friend! Never abandon your pet! Anima – November Rescue (SPP1580-Hedy)!

SPP1580-Hedy was rescued by Anima as she was sick. Hedy, under our SPP, is the daughter of SPP1577-Rada that is also under our Special Protection Program (SPP) from 13th November. Rada was found by our rescue team during the daily feeding, somewhere in Macau. She is the mother of five puppies, all also under our protection: SPP1579-Hedda, SPP1580-Hedy (now with us), SPP1581-Hanson, SPP1582-Hennie and SPP1583-Harman. As there are no people taking care of them, our rescue team is the responsible for them in the area. We are completely full otherwise all those puppies should be collected by Anima! Anima – November Adoption (1533-Jamie)!

1533-Jamie together with 1530-Jerome, 1531-Jeremy, 1532-Joa, all one day old, were rescued by Anima on 22nd September 2015, after a call from Mr. Zheng regarding four puppies that were born in his house by her dog, a Schnauzer. She was 15 years old and it was the seventh time she got pregnant. She had no milk at all! We called that as irresponsibility! Now 1533-Jamie was adopted by Ms. Chan! Thanks Ms. Chan! Anima – November Adoption (C1031-Taro)!

C031-Taro is the son of C1029-Vita that was rescued by Anima on 9th September 2015, after a call from Ms. Cheang referring that she found an injured cat near the border gate (her leg seemed crushed by a car). Vita was sent directly to a clinic. She couldn’t move at all, was very aggressive and has a big belly. She was pregnant and as one baby was already dead she had an emergency surgery. Vita had a hip fracture. C1030-Vanilla and C1031-Taro were the babies that born but unfortunately C1030-Vanilla was already dead! Now C1031-Taro was now adopted by Ms. Hei, our staff! Thanks Ms. Hei! University of Macau – East Asia College visited us!

Today 71 people visited us, 16 were from University of Macau – East Asia College! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2015, up to the end of October, we had 4,761 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 4,549 in the same period of 2014! 47 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us up to October!
