Anima – November Rescue (C1069 and C1070)!

C1069-Santino and C1070-Santos were rescued by Ms. Ieong in Amigos do Jardim Triângulo last night. C1070-Santos was adopted by her friend but C1069-Santino was sent to a clinic immediately as his head was injured. He need to stay overnight in the clinic for observation. November abandonment in Kennel (1373-Malvina)! 

1373-Malvina is the daughter of SPP1365-Maffy that was rescued in January 13, 2015 almost at the last stage of her pregnancy. She had twelve babies in Anima on January 16, 2015, one of them Malvina. Malvina was adopted on March 28, 2015 and abandoned in the Macau Kennel without any pre-notice to Anima! We should like to disclose the name of the adopter but our policy does not allow us to do it. We are trying to understand what happen, but we are not happy! Never abandon your pet! Anima –Exmoo News visited us as volunteers!

Today 11 people visited us, six were volunteers from Exmoo News! They came to do volunteer work in our cats’ area and play with our animals! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2015, up to the end of October, we had 4,761 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 4,549 in the same period of 2014! 47 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us! We have visited the Sheng Kung Hui Secondary School!

An Anima team leader by our Executive Committee Vice-President Mr. Billy Chan has visited the Sheng Kung Hui secondary school today. Around 13 students were involved in this education event. Anima – November return to site (SPP1549-Siu Fa)!

SPP1549-Siu Fa was rescued by Anima on 17th October 2015, after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that Siu Fa, now a dog under our Special Protection Program, was bitten by other dogs in a construction site. C1067-Wessel was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Maria reporting that an injured cat was found in Estrada de Cheoc Wan. October Temporary Accommodation (C970-Chanmi)!

Chanmi when rescued, adopted and now staying with us temporarily! C970-Chanmi was rescued by Anima on June 17, 2015 after a call from Mr. Chan referring that he has found a kitten under a car near Rua de Domingos Belchior Carneiro. The kitten went inside the engine and only with the support of the police and fire department we were able to rescue her. Chanmi was afterwards, on 18th July 2015, adopted by Mr. Wu. Now he is with us for seven days free of charge. If you adopt an animal from us you have the privilege to leave your animal in Anima during 15 days free of charge in the first year of adoption.
