Albano Martins Adopt In Coloane Kennel, News, SPP accepted

IACM animals for Adoption in Coloane Kennel!

Thanks to our cooperation with IACM, Anima is now taking care to all animals in Coloane Kennel from Monday to Sunday. From 9:00 am to 5:45 pm. If you want to see them on Saturdays and Sundays, please call Anima and we will open the gate, as Saturdays and Sundays are day-off for IACM but not for Anima. We work all days of the year, including holidays and typhoons, rotating our staff. Anima employs nowadays 35 people, of which 23 are locals! SPP1514-Tai Wong, SPP1515-Siu Wan and SPP1516-Siu Wang were collected by IACM, stayed in Macau Kennel for adoption and now are being moved to Coloane Kennel for avoiding to be euthanized. Meanwhile, Anima has socialized the dogs in Coloane kennel to allow these three to have their own pen! This is only possible thanks to our cooperation with IACM! Anima – October Sad News (SPP1545-Marvis)!

SPP1545-Marvis was rescued by Anima on 7th October 2015, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that Marvis, living in a site, was weak and sick and was bitten by the adult dogs. He was really in very bad shape, severely dehydrated and full of fleas, ticks and worms! We have tried our best to save him! He deceased today! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – Returned back to Macau Kennel (1252-Bentley)!

1252-Bentley was adopted in Macau Kennel few days ago, on 6th October 2015, and returned today. Bentley was also adopted from Anima on 18th July 2015! Bentley is a husky, found at Rua da Praia do Manduco on 21st June 2014, with no microchip. After been adopted from Anima, Bentley was abandoned in the Macau kennel by the owner without informing us! Fortunately, after all these sad news, there is someone that also wants to adopt him, as informed by IACM! Please Adopt and Never buy! Otherwise we can not help other animals! Please be patient! October: SPP1477-Omar in Temporary Accommodation!

A group of eight dogs, a mother and seven puppies, were included in our Special Protection Program on 14th June 2015: SPP1471-Oona (the mother of 7 puppies), SPP1472-Orla, SPP1473-Oriana, SPP1474-Oprah, SPP1475-Olga, SPP1476-Orson, SPP1477-Omar and SPP1478-Olly. Now Omar, and yesterday Orson, were neutered by Anima. Omar has to stay with us as he has tick fever and still needs to be followed-up! Please help us to help them! Anima – October Rescue and Relocation (SPP1544-Pako)!

SPP1544-Pako was rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Peng reporting that Pako needed to be moved to another site as the people there was not friendly to him. As she was not familiar to Pako she asked our support. Anima rescue team was able to move him to the new area where he lives in better conditions. Please see the pictures, one in the old area with a lot of rubbish and the other in the new area surrounded by people. Anima – October Rescue (C1046-Burst)!

C1046-Burst was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Wong referring that she found a kitten (C1046-Burt) inside the water meter box in her building. As it was raining so much Burt was hiding there. He was sent to a clinic for checking and he was very hungry, it seems not eating for few days already! He was de-wormed and is now staying in B13 waiting for an adoption. Later he will be properly vaccinated. He was rescued because he was in risk! Today Anima refused to collect another cat as he was healthy, very clean as he was protected by community members around! Anima – October Rescue (C1045-Finn)!

C1045-Finn was rescued by Anima after a call from Michelle who brought him to us. Finn was in very bad shape, dehydrated, with anemia and two wounds, one of them infected, low temperature and weak.
