Four puppies, 1487-Spring, 1488-Summer, 1489-Autumn and 1490-Winter were found abandoned in the middle of the road between the water company and Anima on 7th July 2015, around 8:55am. 1489-Autumn had a wound on her neck and all of them had skin problems. Today 17 people visited us, two were reporters from Apple Daily News of Hong Kong! They came to interview Anima regarding our campaign for the closing of Canidrome! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! 1548-Katie was rescued by Anima on 14th October 2015, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that Katie was living in a construction site that will begin to be redeveloped. Katie was pregnant. Anima – October Adoption (C1048-Boyd and C1051-Larrisa)!

Boyd and Larrisa when rescued and now with the adopters! C1048-Boyd, male, around 3 weeks old was rescued by Anima on 8th October 2015, and SPPC1051-Larrisa, female and two months old, was rescued by Anima on 13th October 2015, both after a call from Michelle reporting that they were found somewhere in Taipa. Anima – Ian is the foster family of C691-Onion!

Please see Onion when was rescued and now being fostered by Ian. We are happy with the work of our staff taking care of  so many animals! We have four staff, sometimes five, totally dedicated to cats, but they are not enough to keep a close eye on all. As cats are free in Anima, it is more difficult to detect anything wrong to them earlier in advance! This is the price of freedom! Freedom is not subject to negotiation! Caging is insane, unless temporarily and during treatment! SPCAs that cages animals should be closed! Do you want to be caged?  In our crowded environment we try our best to have a close look to all our cats but we do not succeed always!
