Anima – Information about animals (B014-Murga)!

B014-Murga was rescued on 12th June 2015, after a call from Mr. Sousa reporting that a pigeon was found in Rua Pedro Coutinho at the car park of King’s Court and he was not able to fly. Murga was sent to a clinic and all glue were taken from his wings. He has stayed in the clinic up to now and will stay in Anima for some more time to be release once his wings are strong enough. Anima – Anima Rescue (1513-Achilles)!

1513-Achilles was accepted by Anima as he has very good capabilities to be adopted within few days. The owner had a car accident and has to go back immediately back home and can not take him by the reasons we have already disclosed in other post. However the family paid one month accommodation in Anima in order for us to find a new family for him. In case he is adopted before one month, Anima will pay back the owner discounting only the accommodation for few for days in Anima and the dessex surgery! Achilles is a Bichon Frise, male, born in 20/12/2013 and he is very afraid to stay with other dogs as he has already a traumatic experience of being seriously beaten by other dogs in the past. Anima – September Rescue (C1029-Vita)!

C1029-Vita was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Cheang referring that she found an injured cat in an underbrush near the border gate. Vita’s leg seemed crushed by a car. Anima – September New SPP (SPPC1032 to SPPC1036)!

Three kittens, SPPC1032-Jody, SPPC1033-Jerri and SPPC1034-Jock were born by SPPC975-Julie in Taipa. Michele is responsible for them in that area. SPPC1035-Jenni and SPPC1036-Joni were found by Michele yesterday. They were under a motorcycle engine. Both of them lives also in Taipa and are also under Michelle responsibity. B017-Mochi was taken to shelter by Mr. Cheang. He found Mochi in the middle of a road near Sai Wan. The traffic was high and Mochi couldn’t fly. Anima – 1396-Antonia went back home!

1396-Antonia was one of the babies of SPP1393-Adelina that was found pregnant by Anima and has given birth to five puppies on 21 January 2015. Antonia was adopted by Ms. Tam on 11th April 2015. She was accommodated in Anima for three days free of charge as by our regulation all adopted animals will have free accommodation for a maximum of 15 days in the first year of adoption in case we have free space! New Born and Sad News (C1030-Vanilla and C1031-Taro)!

C1029-Vita that was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Cheang referring that she found an injured cat in an underbrush near the border gate (her leg seemed crushed by a car) was sent directly to a clinic. She couldn’t move at all, was very aggressive and has a big belly. She was pregnant and as one baby was already dead she had an emergency surgery. Vita had a hip fracture. C1030-Vanilla and C1031-Taro were the babies but unfortunately C1030-Vanilla was already dead! She needs to make a hip surgery later. Never abandon your pet! SPPC974-Meggsie was accommodated in our shelter since 28th August 2015, as she was sick. She recovered and was returned to her place today under Michelle Supervision. The animals under the Special Protection Program are only those living outside Anima in streets or sites. What Anima can provide? Food, medication and the necessary welfare, within our financial capabilities. Who can be under this program? Animals that are daily followed-up by volunteers. A picture, name, gender and the place where he/she is living, is a condition for getting such status. Those volunteers have to be registered in Anima as so. Be a SPP volunteer! Please be active!
