Anima – Five new dogs under our Special Protection Program in July!

SPP1492-Ah Bun, SPP1493-Ah Don, SPP1494-Mei, SPP1495-Mea and SPP1496-Monika are now under our Special Protection Program. They live somewhere in Coloane and needed to be neuter or spay. Mr. Lee and Ms. Lorus are responsible for that area. They will be now under Anima supervision for all, including free medical care and food support if needed! Thanks Mr. Lee and Ms. Lorus! R025-Coffee was rescued by Anima after a call from a community member informing that he cannot take care of his son’s rabbit anymore as he has an allergy. His son bought the rabbit from a pet shop few years ago and now he has immigrated to the United States. R025-Coffee was already de-sexed. Anima has now three beautiful rabbits waiting for adoption! Anima – July New Born in Anima (C1004-Trina, C1005-Tobias, C1006-Trent and C1007-Tobin)

C999-Juicy, around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 8 July 2015 after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that she ran into his store and was already in the last days of pregnancy. According to him someone hit the cat few times. Now she gave birth in Anima to four kittens; C1004-Trina, C1005-Tobias, C1006-Trent and C1007-Tobin! Welcome kids to this new and difficult world! Anima – July Abandonment (1213-Andrina)

Andrina when rescue and now! 1213-Andrina was adopted on 6 March 2014. Andrina was one of the seven puppies rescued in Ilha Verde on February 17, 2014, after we have received a call from the Public Works Department asking our help for saving the puppies. The adopter was pregnant and decided to abandon her after more than one year!. She complains that she bites the husband and she is afraid Andrina will bite her baby afterwards. Andrina is now in Coloane Kennel under our supervision. We have also no more space there for animals. All pens are full now, some even with two dogs! All dogs there have play time! Please pay a visit to them! The kennel is opened everyday with Anima staff! Please adopt! Never buy! Do not abandon your pet! Anima – SPP dogs rescued for neutering

SPP1424-Riordan and SPP1425-Rosine are dogs under our Special Protection Program from February 28, 2015. Now they were taken to Anima for neutering. They live in a construction site. Mr. Ah Fung is responsible for them. Please help us to help them! If you know animals in sites and you or someone are able to daily control them, please register them in Anima under our Special Protection Program (SPP). We will neuter them and release afterwards! Anima – July Sad News (C356-Twain)

Twain in the good all times before the FIP viral disease! C356-Twain, rescued by Anima on 9 June 2012, in a car park near Fortuna Hotel, was in suffer with FIP. He was under treatment but we could only postpone his death. He was already very skinny, severely dehydrated with fat  liver and  hypothermia. His health has degraded very fast and we decided to stop his suffer after a favorable opinion of a vet and two board members approval, the last one the Anima's  President, as usual! R.I.P. my friend!
