Anima – July information about animals (1486-Milk Shake)

How was Milk Shake when we rescued him and now after being cared by us! 1486-Milk Shake was rescued by Anima on 27 June 2015, after a call from Mr. Chui reporting that a Pomeranian puppy was found dying in a street at Ilha Verde. The puppy had no power to move. 1486-Milk Shake was sent immediately to a clinic by Anima. He was anemic and need to stay overnight for treatment! He was followed very carefully by our staff up to now and is almost prepared to leave us as we already decided who will be his next family! Please understand, only one family can take him! Deciding which is the best for him is not easy and many times we have to think also about the family and its needs! Every time we may not decide as you should like us to do! Anima – July Rescue (1501-Julissa)!

1501-Julissa was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Albano referring that Julissa was between the road down to Grand Coloane and the water channel around the road. She could easily be killed by any car. She was moved by Mr. Albano to the bush around until Anima come to rescue. She was skinny, wounded, with most of the wounds full of maggots. A lot of ticks were found throughout the body. She was so weak that hardly could move and had hypothermia (BT: 35.6 C). She was sent to a clinic for a blood and tick fever tests. The result was normal. She is now under our supervision in Anima clinic. Tomorrow Anima will go to the area and check the mountain around to see if more puppies are there in difficult situation! Anima – July two new dogs under our Special Protection Program!

1.SPP1499-Christi is now under our Special Protection Program. Christi is the mother of 1498-Colly that we found dead few days ago in a construction site. Four puppies live with SPP1499-Christi in that area, but today we were not able to see them. SPP1499-Christi had an eye problem and we went there to help her. 2.SPP1500-Otto is now also under our Special Protection Program. Otto lives somewhere in Coloane. He is the “husband” of SPP1471-Oona and also the father of sever puppies, SPP1472-Orla, SPP1473-Oriana, SPP1474-Oprah, SPP1475-Olga, SPP1476-Orson, SPP1477-Omar and SPP1478-Olly. Anima –SPP1223-Mogus returned to his place!

See how Mogus is happy with Ms. Peng and how all his buddies are happy to see him back! It is not this better than caging him forever! Freedom is more important than living as a prisoner forever in a tiny cage as some people  in Macau does! Life is always a risk!  1223-Mogus came back for recovery after a call from Ms. Peng. He had a wound infected. Mogus was rescued in Ka Ho St. Jose School on April 18, 2014. On the time Mogus had a consolidated fracture below the knee and the paw. A deep wound was found under the paw as well. He was seen by a vet and after recovery went back to his place. He came again on June 23 and is now back again! This is part of our Program (SPP)! Anima – July Adoption (1470-Siu Bo)

1470-Siu Bo was rescued by Anima on 9 June 2015, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that Siu Bo was found abandoned inside a carton box in Av. do Ouvidor Arriaga. Anima – July Rescue of B015-Little S!

B015-Little S, around two weeks old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Lee. Little S, fell down from a tree near Rua do Cunha. Ms. Lee checked the tree and couldn’t find the nest and as there are many cats around she asked our support. He was taken to a clinic as he needs special attention due to the age. Once capable to eat alone, he will be put free, “as free as the wind”! No cages for dogs, cats or birds or for any other animal! Do you like to be caged? For sure no! Caging is insane! Anima – July Rescue and Sad News (1498-Colly)!

1498-Colly, around one month old, was found dead somewhere in Macau in a visit of our rescue team. It was the first time we know her. Someone used to feed her plus her mother and four siblings all living there. They will be under Anima supervision for all, including free medical care and food support if needed! Xiao Pai was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Wong that is used to feed her. Xiao Pai, around seven years old, got a deep wound on her leg during a fight. Anima took care of her, free of charge, but Mr. Wong donated to us MOP 1,000.00. Xiao Pai is now a SPP dog!
