Anima – July Rescue (1501-Julissa)!
1501-Julissa was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Albano referring that Julissa was between the road down to Grand Coloane and the water channel around the road. She could easily be killed by any car. She was moved by Mr. Albano to the bush around until Anima come to rescue. She was skinny, wounded, with most of the wounds full of maggots. A lot of ticks were found throughout the body. She was so weak that hardly could move and had hypothermia (BT: 35.6 C). She was sent to a clinic for a blood and tick fever tests. The result was normal. She is now under our supervision in Anima clinic. Tomorrow Anima will go to the area and check the mountain around to see if more puppies are there in difficult situation!
