Anima – Cheng Yu Tung College of University of Macau visited us!

Today 54 people visited us and eight were students from Cheng Yu Tung College of University of Macau. They came to work! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2015, up to the end of April, we had 2360 visitors an increase of 28.4% as compared with 1,896 in the same period of 2014! Thank you for trusting us and supporting our work! B011-Babble was rescued after a call from Ms. Mak reporting that a bird was found bleeding in Largo de Monte Carlo and was not able to fly. B011-Babble passed away before we arrived. C954-Cato and C955-Cayla were rescued after a call from Mrs. Hui reporting that Cato and Cayla (the mother) were part of a group of seven cats living in a construction site. People there seemed not happy seeing community members feeding the animals. She was also worried the workers will poison the remaining two as three already have disappeared suddenly. Anima – May Sad News (121-Bone)

121-Bone, also known as Kuat Kuat, was euthanized today as she was in suffer. In the beginning of May she had a teeth surgery and was found on that time a mandible tumor. 121-Bone was euthanized after a favorable opinion of a vet and two board members approval. She was found collapsed this morning, having convulsion and incontinence. She didn’t eat much since last week! Bone was estimate to be around 10 years and five months old and was one of our first rescued animals still with us.
