1444-Puppy and 1445-Happy that stayed with us for a while as the family went out of Macau have returned to the family. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates. For dogs, 50 patacas per day and for cats 30 patacas per day. In case of members the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Greyhound Racing Accidents

This is a story about Greyhound racing accidents in the UK taken from www.greyhound-data.com. Compiled by The International Society Against Exploitation of Racing Animals What about Macau? In Macau the situation is even worst: 30 dogs are being killed at a very young age, between one and three years old. The effect of that killing is that the track replaces all animals (around 700) in two years time! We have calculated with the information provided by the Macau track that they are killing of around 30 animals per month. The number of animals being inactive for reasons such as tiredness, injuries or sickness reaches, using the track’s own numbers, is more than 40 per cent in several months! The ratio of injury is over 20 percent in many months also. The track is old and the number of races per day as well the number of races per month exceeds...

Retired track Greyhound Song

Retired track Greyhound can live in families like any other dog! The track in Macau tells us that Greyhounds need a special training in order to be adopted by families. We have as our partners the most experienced people handling Greyhounds in the world and all of them refer that this is a silly lie! That lie is making the Canidrome giving only for adoption in the last three years a total of four dogs! And the first one was adopted by its own vet! They prefer to kill them in an average of 30 per month than to be active in adoptions! Why? Because easily, after killing, they buy in Australia and sell them in public auction pocketing money that is not taxable or subject to very low taxes! And the Macau Authorities doesn’t care at all about that! Instead of being active in adoptions, the Canidrome uses the IACM Macau...

For those who continue to abandon animals because of a pregnancy or because of children, please see one more good example of a responsible family. It comes today from Shibani and her husband! They have adopted 783-Trileg, now Jumpy, on 8 July 2012. Trileg was abandoned by another family on 25 January 2012, because who was in charge of him refers that he barks at night time! Now little Rohan was born and Jumpy is his Bodyguard! Jumpy is a very big and friendly black dog that had a leg very damaged when was living in a site in Taipa. Anima had no choice than to cut his leg! According to Shibani “they are getting along very well and I wanted to share that with you guys. Jumpy is very protective of him. Purely by instinct. He is an amazing dog. And I'm glad that Rohan is so lucky to have this...
