Anima March Adoption (C896-Xenia and C897-Xavier)

C896-Xenia and C897-Xavier were adopted by Pedro. They were both rescued on February 13, 2015, by Anima inside a garbage bin at Rua Dois do Bairro da Areia Preta. Anima March Information about Cats

Anima was informed by Lorus, our volunteer, that Ms. Ng, somewhere in Macau, used to feed cats. She has rented a place and takes care of around 50 cats. Anima paid her a visit last Sunday with a group of five members and volunteers to be inside the situation. 1431-Eeny, 1432-Meeny, 1433-Miny and 1434-Moe, two males and two females, were rescued after a call from Mr. Tse, regarding 7 (seven) puppies that were born in a construction site somewhere in Macau. Anima 2015 February Statistics about Animals

Anima has rescued in the period of Jan-Feb 2015, 74 animals. In the same period,  15 animals were de-sexed and others are only waiting a recovery and the appropriate age. The number of adoptions was 23! Regarding the huge death of animals this is explained by the poor condition of them when arrived or by some diseases that sometimes happen in crowded shelters, even if we try our best to have a proper quarantine and good standards of welfare and cleaning policies. Anima adopts the policy of No-Kill and No-Cage, policies that limit our capacity to increase the number of rescues or oblige us to be more selective in our rescue operations! Last year we rescued 379 dogs and cats and we were able to make only 166 adoptions! Please understand, without adoptions we can not save more animals! Please be part of the solution, not part of the problem! There are community members...
