Anima-February Adoption (2419-Rika)!

<14-02-2022> Rika was adopted today by Ms. Yuen! 2416-Soho (M), 2417-Tempo (M), 2418-Snoopy (F) and 2419-Rika (F), all around one month old back then, were rescued by Anima on 10th December 2021. Anima was looking for the white dog that was severely hurt and during this search saved these four puppies. All were sent to a clinic and blood tests were made to check their health. Soho, Tempo, Snoopy and Rika returned to our Dogs’ Shelter after recover. Today, Rika found the love of a new family! Thank you so much, Ms. Yuen, for choosing to adopt! Please, adopt and don't buy! Anima–February Sad News (FM010-Micah)!

<14-02-2022> Our fancy mouse, FM010-Micah, an old male, have been in Anima waiting to be adopted. Recently, FM010-Micah got sick and today he passed away in our shelter. Anima–February Sad News (584-Nocas)!

<14-02-2022> 584-Nocas (F), one of our senior dogs, has been living in Anima for many years. Recently, she got sick and was sent to a clinic for consultation. 584-Nocas has been hospitalized in a clinic since 8th February 2022. Her blood test results indicated that she was suffering from kidney failure and need to be under treatment. An ultrasound examination showed a mass in her spleen and suspect it's a tumor. Unfortunately, and despite our efforts, she did not survive, and her body will be delivered in IAM. Please, help us giving them an opportunity to be adopted before it is too late! Anima-Melco Resorts and Entertainment helped us!

<14-02-2022> Today, we were visited by 20 persons, of which two were volunteers from Melco Resorts and Entertainment. This group gave us a precious help volunteering at our Dogs’ Shelter. Our heartfelt thanks to all volunteers for the commitment and support to our cause! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2021, we were visited by 10,589 people, compared with 10,495 visitors in 2020. Anima-February Adoption (C2686-Lester)!

<14-02-2022> Lester was adopted today by Ms. Madeira! A mother cat, C2682-Lisa (F), around two and a half years old back then, together with her four kittens, C2683-Lailah (F), C2684-Leanna (F), C2685-Loki (M) and C2686-Lester (M), all around three weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 27th December 2021. Anima was asked for assistance, requested from Ms. Cheong, reporting that her father had been feeding a cat in a building at Hac Sa Wan. However, he’s retiring and no one could continue to feed the cat. All cats, Lisa and her kittens, were found at the same place and welcomed to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima-February Rescue and New SPP (SPP2342-Justin)!

<13-02-2021> SPP2342-Justin (M), around three years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). He was living under Ms. So's responsibility in a site near Hac Sa. Today, we received a call from Ms. So reporting that Justin got bitten by other dogs. His right front leg has several deep wounds. Justin was rescued by our team and sent to a clinic. He will remain hospitalized for the time being and will be welcomed into our shelter once recovered. Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Anima–February Sad News (T026-Molly)!

<12-02-2022> Our turtle T026-Molly (F) was rescued by Anima on the September 8, 2019, when she was around five years old. The person who abandoned her sent us an e-mail back then claiming that she had grown too big for his aquarium. Molly was then welcomed into Cat’s Paradise. Sadly, after three years of a healthy life at our pond, Molly passed away this afternoon. R.I.P., our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–February Sad News (215-Peter)!

<10-02-2022> 215-Peter (M), one of our senior dogs and rescued by Anima long time ago, got sick recently. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, his blood test’s results showed a little anemic and an infection. Pancreatitis test result was positive. Also, an Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) in the lumbar spine was making him uncapable to move his legs. 215-Peter was hospitalized, and he stood under treatment for each problem. Unfortunately, despite our efforts and from the clinic, they called us to inform that he did not survive. His body will be delivered in IAM.
