Anima–May Rescue and Sad News (SPP1895-Barbie)!

<23-05-2017> SPP1895-Barbie (F), around four years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on the 23rd May 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan, informing that a dog (SPP1895-Barbie) was in a construction site next to Pou Tai Un Monastery and was hit by a car, seeming paralyzed. Barbie was send to a clinic for consultation and X-ray check. SPP1895-Barbie had severe spinal fracture and a lump in the anal gland and she was in great pain and suffering and nothing could be done to help her. After a call to Mr. Chan explaining the situation, a favorable opinion of the vet who saw her and two Anima board members approval, the last one the President of Anima, Barbie was euthanized. Anima–May Rescue (C1542, C1543)!

<22-05-2017> C1542-Zion (M) and C1543-Ziva (F), around two months old, were rescued by Anima on the 22nd May 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan, informing that he found two kittens, C1542-Zion and C1543-Ziva, near his working place in Rua do Cunha and no adult cat was seen nearby. He asked us to help. They were checked by our vet and de-wormed. C1542-Zion and C1543-Ziva were delivered to Cats’ Paradise for quarantine. Thanks Mr. Chan! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue (C1541-Haku)!

<20-05-2017> C1541-Haku (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on the 20th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Luk, informing that a cat, C1541-Haku, entered in his working area at Edifício Industrial Chong Fong. He asked us to help as the cat had many fleas. Our rescue team set up a cat trap there yesterday and C1541-Haku was caught today. C1541-Haku was checked by our vet and de-wormed. <19-05-2017> SPPC1540-Ocean (M), around five months old, was rescued by Anima on the 19th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. He is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). SPPC1540-Ocean was brought to Anima for consultation and was de-wormed and received the first vaccination. Anima– May Rescue (SPPC1413-Lancelot)!

<19-05-2017> SPPC1413-Lancelot (M), with an estimated age of four years old, entered in our Special Protection Program when was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 1st February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. He was de-wormed and castrated by our vet on 1st February 2017 and then returned to his former place after medication prescribed. He was rescued again on 19th May 2017 and was brought to Anima for consultation as he was skinny. He is staying now in our room V6. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! <18-05-2017> SPP929-Lin (F), around four years old, under our Special Protection Program (SPP) from 9th January 2014, was rescued by Anima again on 18th May 2017, as our rescue team found she had a wound in her face. Anima – May Abandonment and Rescue (1629-Keira)!

<18-05-2017> 1620-Ibbie was rescued by Anima on 6th January after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that Ibbie was pregnant and living in a construction site in Coloane. On 12th January 2016, she gave birth to eight puppies, 1629-Keira, 1630-Kole, 1631-Kylee, 1632-Skye, 1633-Stammi, 1634-Sorrel, 1635-Bonzel and 1636-Bliss, four males and four females. 1629-Keira was adopted on 12th January 2016 and after abandoned in the kennel. The owner informed us that his landlord does not allow him to have dogs at home. He placed Keira in a pet shop and as this was very expensive he contacted us. We asked him to put Keira in kennel first as we will collect her as soon as we find a way to invent a space. We collected Keira today. She is staying in V0 during night time and is being socialized in Pen 29 during day time ! We are completely full! Never Abandon...

Anima – May Rescue (SPPC1181-Davian)!

<18-05-2017> SPPC1181-Davian (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele on 29th April 2016, being around one month old and came back to Anima on 7 March 2017 for consultation. Davian had gingivitis and feel pain when eating. The gums were very red and inflamed. On 24th March 2017, he came again for the same reason. He stayed in V8 for treatment. Now Davian was rescued again on 18th May 2017, and brought to Anima for consultation. He continues to have gingivitis. SPPC1181-Davian is now staying in V6 for treatment and observation. Anima–May Rescue (C1538 a C1539)!

<18-05-2017> C1538-Sanna (F) and C1539-Scout (M), around eight months and two years old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 18th May 2017, after a call from IACM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel has no more space for other rescues. They have all microchip, are neutered and properly vaccinated. IACM and Anima are cooperating very intensively to save as many animals as possible.
