Anima–Rescue and New Cat Under SPP (SPPC1429-Cadmus)!

<22-02-2017> SPPC1429-Cadmus (M), with an estimated age of five years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 22nd February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Cadmus was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has severe skin problem and hair loss on the back and is staying with us for castration now. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! <21-02-2017> SPPC1428-Desmo (M), with an estimated age of three years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 21st February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Rescue and Temporary Accommodation (SPP1856-Hugo)!

<20-02-2017> SPP1856-Hugo (M), that was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) when rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a dog got an open wound on the body during a fight in a site of Coloane. Hugo received a surgery to stitch up the wound. He was returned to his former place after the surgery. Mr. Leong is responsible for him in that area. Hugo was supposed to remove the stitches today, but we found the wound is not healed yet. So, he is staying with us until he recovers. Thanks Mr. Leong! Please help us to help them! <20-02-2017> C1427-Leona (F), few days old, was rescued by Anima on 20th February 2017, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a kitten was inside a plastic bag in Rua Oeste do Mercado de São Domingos. Anima–Abandonment and Rescue (C1239-C1243, C1425)!

<17-02-2017> 1239-Handsome (M), with an estimated age of three years old, C1240-B Loi (F), with an estimated age of four years old, C1241-Playful (F), with an estimated age of 1.5 years old, C1242-Fei Mui (F) and C1243-Pineapple (M), both with an estimated age of four years old, were rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2016, after a call from Ms. Lou informing that she wanted to abandon her nine cats. That was not the first time she tried to do that. Last time the daughter didn’t authorize. She decided to abandon the five most active cats promising to find a good home for the remaining. C1239-Handsome, C1240-B Loi, C1241-Playful, C1242-Fei Mui and C1243-Pineapple were sent to us. They were collected back by Ms. Lou and her daughter on 30th July 2016, as the daughter was against the decision of abandoning them! However, today we received a call from Ms. Lou again telling...

Anima–February Rescue and Sad News (1857-Kalina)!

<16-02-2017> 1857-Kalina (F), with an estimated age of five months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 16th February 2017, after a call from the Traffic Department reporting that a dog was hit by a motorcycle in front of Restaurant Miramar. Unfortunately Kalina passed away before we arrived. Her body was collected to Anima to be delivered to Macau kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Thanks Traffic Department! Please help us to help them! Anima–February Rescue (C1419, C1420)!

<10-02-2017> C1419-Samson (M) and C1420-Sander (M), both with an estimated age of two years old, were rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, after a call from Ms. Koo reporting that there were three cats in the car park of Alfandega de Macau at Rua S. Tiago da Barra and the stray dogs were chasing them often. We set a trap over there and today Samson and Sander were caught. They were checked by our vet and dewormed.
