Anima–January Rescue (C1386-Tebbie)!

<18-01-2017> C1386-Tebbie (M), with an estimated age of four years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that her neighbor passed away few days ago and left three cats, which no one taking care of them. There is a gap from the door of the flat from which the cats can come out and search for food. Ms. Peng and the neighbors set up a trap and Tebbie was caught today. They are trying to catch the remain cats and we will collect them once they are caught. Tebbie was checked by our vet and deworm and is under quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Anima–January Rescue (C1385-Salem)!

<17-01-2017> C1385-Salem (F), with an estimated age of ten months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Tam reporting that she found a cat  pregnant in Auto-Silo do Lido. Anima–January Rescue (C1381, C1382)!

<13-01-2017> C1381-William (M), with an estimated age of two years old, together with C1382-Harry (M), with an estimated age of three years old, were rescued by Anima on 13th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her two cats now,  temporarily. According to Ms. Mui, she used to rescue dogs in the street and had rented a place to put the dogs, but now the owner got  the place back and she had to put all the dogs inside her house. Her two cats couldn’t get along well with the dogs, and she has no more space to separate them. William and Harry are staying in our Cat’s Paradise now, until Ms. Mui can solve the problem. <10-01-2017> C1380-Amble (F), with an estimated age of three years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th January 2017, after a call from Mr. Iong reporting that he found a pregnant cat near Pou Tai Un Monastery. Anima–January Rescue (C1376-C1379)!

<08-01-2017> C1376-Udon (F), C1377-Soba (F), C1378-Ramen (M) and C1379-Somen (M), all with an estimated age of one month old, were rescued by Anima on 8th January 2017, after a call from Mr. Iong reporting that he used to feed a female cat but the cat was bitten by a dog and died two days ago. The female cat left four kittens and Mr. Iong does not know how to take care of them. Udon and Ramen were fostered temporarily by our cat supervisor Connie, Soba and Somen were fostered temporarily by our assistant supervisor Effie, as they still need milk feeding. Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1837-Coconut)!

<07-01-2017> SPP1837-Coconut (F), with an estimated age of five months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 7th January 2017, after a call from our rescue team reporting that they found an injured puppy, in a site of Coloane, during the daily feeding. According to a volunteer, Coconut has an owner but the owner doesn’t care much of her. Coconut got ran over by a car two days ago. She couldn’t stand, her left thigh was swollen and she was in pain. She was sent to a clinic for x-ray immediately. The report showed that the hip and the left femur got a fracture. But no surgery needed as she could heal herself later. Coconut is staying with us  now. Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! Anima–January Rescue (C1375-Nam Nam)!

<03-01-2017> C1375-Nam Nam (M), with an estimated age of three months old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Fan reporting that she found a kitten in Travessa. da Cordoaria in Coloane. Nam Nam has an eye infection, he is skinny and was full of fleas. He is sneezing with severe conjunctivitis as well. There is a risk of losing the vision. He is under observation now. Thanks Ms. Fan! Anima–January Rescue (C1374-Caramel II)!

<03-01-2017> C1374-Caramel II (M), with an estimated age of five years old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Filipa reporting that she rescued a cat 1.5 years ago in Cheoc Van but she doesn’t want to keep him anymore. According to her, Caramel II has been wild and aggressive. She reported that he destroyed everything in the house and attacked her young daughter. Anima–Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1833-Jenkin)!

<02-01-2017> SPP1833-Jenkin (M), with an estimated age of five years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on 2nd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Rebecca reporting that a dog was found sick in a site of Coloane. According to Rebecca, Jenkin refused to eat for few days and he was getting skinny. Jenkin was sent to a clinic for consultation and  needs to stay there temporarily. Thanks Ms. Rebecca! Anima–Rescue and New Cat Under SPP (SPPC1373-Greet)!

<02-01-2017> SPPC1373-Greet (F), with an estimated age of eight years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 2nd January 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Greet that was found dying and has severe dehydration was sent to a clinic immediately. She is under dripping now and will have a further examination once her condition is improved. Thanks Michele!
