<23-08-2016> SPPC1267-Tasha (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 23rd August 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Tasha was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. Anima – August Rescue and Sad News (B042-Kipe)!

<21-08-2016> B042-Kipe was rescued by Anima on 21st August 2016, after a call from Mr. Rui reporting that a pigeon was found outside BarCelona Tapas & Rice and unable to fly. Kipe was sent to a clinic immediately. Kipe was very weak and had diarrhea. Unfortunately Kipe passed away during the consultation. Thanks Mr. Rui! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima – August Rescue (C1265, C1266)!

<20-08-2016> C1265-Saunder (M), together with C1266-Sarika (F), both around 2.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 20th August 2016, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that two kittens were found under a truck in Rua 2 Iao Hon and they were weak. Mr. Leong sent them to a clinic and took care of them last night. Today they were collected by Anima and checked by our vet. Both of them have upper respiratory and flea infection. the eyes were red and inflamed. They were not willing to eat, got hypothermia, and were sneezing and coughing as well. Both of them are fostered temporarily by our cat supervisor Peng as they need force feeding. Thanks Mr. Leong and Peng! Please help us to help them! Please don’t be cruel to pets! Anima – August Rescue and New SPP Dog (SPP1788-Lucas)!

<19-08-2016> SPP1788-Lucas (M), around three years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 19th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a dog was found limping in Estr. da Aldeia (Near Tam Kong Temple) few days ago. Lucas was sent to a clinic for consultation and x-rays. Report showed that his right front limb was injured and left untreated being the cause of its actual deformation. He was neutered today and  needs to stay in clinic for observation. Ms. Leong will help us to pay part of the vet bill. Thanks Ms. Leong! Please help us to help them! Please neuter your pets! <19-08-2016> C1263-Kirsty (F), together with C1264-Kean (M), both around three years old, were rescued by Anima on 19th August 2016, after a call from Comando da Policia de Seguranca Publica reporting that a two cats’ owner passed away and no one could take care of them. Anima – August Rescue (1773, 1774)!

<18-08-2016> 1773-Sky (M), together with 1774-Sea (M), both around 2.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 18th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Lai reporting that two puppies were found getting soaked underbrush outside Kiang Wu Hospital. They were collected to Anima and checked by our vet. They are staying with us now. This is a kind of situation that forces Anima to find solutions in our crowded space! Thanks Ms. Lai! Anima – August Rescue (B041-Tolo)!

<16-08-2016> B041-Tolo was rescued by Anima on 16th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Sio reporting that a pigeon was found under a motorcycle on Rua Formosa. August Rescue and New SPP Dog (SPP1770, SPP1771)!

<15-08-2016> SPP1770-Whistle (M), around three years old, together with SPP1771-Fat Boy (M), around 2.5 years old, now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima on 15th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that two dogs were found injured after a fight in the site of MGM last night. According to the guard, Whistle was bitten by seven dogs that  were all living in another site. Whistle and Fat Boy were sent to a clinic for treatment. Multiple holes were found on Whistle’s body, the chest, the abdomen and the left shoulder. As the wounds were very wide and deep, he needed over 60 stitches to close all them up. Whistle had a severe bleeding and is now under IV Dripping. Fat Boy had two wounds on the testicles, the left thigh got a deep hole as well,. He was sutured with eight stitches and castrated today.
