Anima – April Rescue (1707-Moppy)!

1707-Moppy (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, informing that 1707-Moppy was found near Jockey Club and seems hurt. 1707-Moppy seems not moving well and was soaked under the rain. 1707-Moppy was collected by Anima and no microchip was found. Unfortunately her tail was out of the big cage we have for animals in quarantine (we have no other way to keep them temporarily, even if they have play times during the day) and she was beaten by other dogs and had to go to a clinic for surgery. Many people ask us to help, we are happy to do the best for the animals but we have no safe spaces for them! Anima – April Rescue (B024-Piggo)!

B024-Piggo (F), around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 19th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Melisia, informing that she found a Zebra Dove in front of School of Nations unable to move or fly. Our rescue team went there and collected B024-Piggo. As B024-Piggo is still young, she can only walk a little and does not know how to fly and feed alone. It will be difficult to survive on that age! Anima – April Rescue (1706-Parco)!

1706-Parco (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Man, informing that 1706-Parco was found tied near a garbage room on Rua de Sacadura Cabral. She has stayed there for over half an hour but nobody appeared to get 1706-Parco. Our rescue team went to the location, no microchip was found on 1706-Parco, and he was skinny. According to the people nearby, they often see two young girls walking 1706-Parco. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – April Rescue (1709-Poca)!

1709-Poca (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Wu, informing that 1709-Poca was in the ditch near the Communications Museum. The ditch was too deep for 1709-Poca to jump out of it, so Ms. Wu asked for our help. Our rescue team went to the location to bring 1709-Poca out and collected her to Anima as that area was too dangerous for a dog and we don’t know if she has owner. No microchip was found. She was de-wormed! Thanks Ms. Wu! Many people ask us to help and we are happy to do the best for the animals but we have no safe spaces for them! 1708-Chigi (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Lo, informing that a Chihuahua, 1708-Chigi, was found at the pistol training area in Security Forces Training College. Anima – April Rescue (SPP1705-Darcey)!

SPP1705-Darcey (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Kwok. SPP1705-Darcy is now under our Special Protection Program with his mother SPP1700-Debbie (F) and the siblings SPP1701-Darlin (F), SPP1702-Delina (F), SPP1703-Demi (F) and SPP1704-Dorie (F). They are living in Coloane and Mr. Kwok is responsible for them. SPP1705-Darcy refused to eat since yesterday and seems sick! Our rescue team collected SPP1705-Darcy and sent to a clinic. Anima – April Rescue (C1166-Alle)!

C1166-Alle (F), around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that he found C1166-Alle hiding under the engine of his motorcycle in Patane. Anima – April Rescue (C1165-Cowie)!

C1165-Cowie (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that there was a cat always coming from the terrace of the building where she lives. We lent a container to Mr. Chui living on 5th floor and used to feed the cats in terrace. Mr. Chui caught it and the cat, C1165-Cowie, is now in Anima. C1165-Cowie was checked and de-wormed. C1164-Kaspar (M), around 20 days old, was rescued by Anima on 16th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Chao reporting that a kitten, C1164-Kaspar was found in Rua dos Colonos and he is very weak. C1164-Kaspar was checked and dewormed. He has Upper Respiratory Infection and Conjunctivitis. C1164-Kaspar will take care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as he still needs milk feeding. Anima – April Sad News (SPP1424-Riorda)!

SPP1424-Riordan and SPP1425-Rosine were dogs under our Special Protection Program from February 28, 2015. They came to Anima for neutering on 11th July 2015. They lived in a construction site and Mr. Ah Fung was the responsible for them. Riordan was caught by a truck and died today! Please help us to help them! If you have a window of opportunity to foster or adopt any of our dogs we have an opportunity to collect others that are always subject to risk outside Anima! As we do not kill, it is impossible for us to rescue all dogs outside! Do not complain only!
