Anima – April Rescue (SPP1647-Laggon)!

SPP1647-Laggon (M), together with SPP1646-Lambo (M), SPP1648-Languid (M), SPP1649-Lafone (F) and SPP1650-Limona (F), around one month old, and the mother, SPP1651-Linna, around two years old, were under our Special Protection Program from the 4th of February 2016. They live in a construction site somewhere in Coloane, and Mrs. Yuen was responsible for them in that area. Laggon was caught by a car and lost one leg! Even full he has to stay with us from now on! C1159-Lexi was rescued by Anima on 14th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Ling reporting that he found C1159-Lexi in Areia Preta Urban Park few days ago and brought her home, but C1159-Lexi cannot get along with his dogs. Anima – April Rescue (SPPC1158-Cammy)!

SPPC1158-Cammy was rescued on 13th April 2016! SPPC1158-Cammy (F), around seven months old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele. She is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). According to Michele, SPPC1158-Cammy refused to eat since last week and she is very skinny. Michele will give the medication to her and closely monitor her condition. Thanks Michele! Anima – April Rescue (C1157-Hank)!

C1157-Hank, a new born kitten, was rescued by Anima on 13th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Ieong, informing that he found a new born kitten on the road side of Praça de Ponte e Horta last night. He sent C1157-Hank to a clinic immediately and C1157-Hank stayed there overnight. Mr. Ieong asked if we could collect C1157-Hank as he did not know how to take care of new born kitten and the hospitalization fee is too expensive. Our rescue team picked up C1157-Hank and we notice that Mr. Ieong has already paid the vet bill. C1157-Hank will stay with Ah Peng, our cats’ supervisor for milk feeding. Thanks Mr. Ieong! Anima – April Rescue (C1156-Shane)!

C1156-Shane was rescued on 10th April 2016! C1156-Shane was rescued by Anima after a Facebook message from Ms. Ng. According to Ms. Ng, she used to feed C1156-Shane in Patane but C1156-Shane had disappeared for a long period of time. When she showed up again, she was dehydrated and very weak. Ms. Ng sent C1156-Shane to a clinic for treatment and intended to return her to former place after recovery and de-sex surgery. But the doctor said it would take a month for C1156-Shane to fully recover. It was beyond Ms. Ng’s budget expectation and she could not afford the hospitalization fee. We picked up C1156-Shane and transferred her to another clinic for observation. She is under IV Dripping. Ms. Ng has paid the vet bill of the first clinic! Thanks Ms. Ng! Please help us to help them! Anima – April Rescue (C1155-Afia)!

C1155-Afia was rescued on 9th April 2016! Afia is the sibling of C1154-Akoni (M) that was rescued by Anima on 8th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Leonor yesterday, reporting that there was a cat mother with two kittens (around 1.5 months old) somewhere near a restaurant in Coloane. According to Ms. Leonor, there were four kittens before but the mother always hide the kittens under the raining water channels. Two kittens were drowned and died on Monday after the heavy rain and Ms. Leonor was worried about the rest of them. C1154-Akoni was being taken care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Ah Peng temporarily as he needs milk feeding. We set up the trap again to catch the other siblings and the mother, under the support of the staff from the restaurant! Afia is also being taken care by Ah Peng! Afia was caught today! Anima – April Rescue (SPPC1153-Lucifer)!

C1153-Lucifer (M) was rescued by Anima after a call fromMs. Kan. Ms. Kan used to feed C1153-Lucifier somewhere in Taipa but she found him with skin problems a week ago. She sent C1153-Lucifer to a clinic for medical treatment and he was improving. However, C1153-Lucifer will need better care to stabilize the disease and needs to stay in the clinic for a long period of time. Ms. Kan could not afford the hospitalization fee, nor keep C1153-Lucifer in her house. We picked up C1153-Lucifer from the clinic today and Ms. Kan already had the bill paid. Thanks Ms. Kan! Anima – April Rescue (SPPC1152-Buffy)!

SPPC1152-Buffy, around three years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele and is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). SPPC1152-Buffy lives somewhere in Taipa and Michele is responsible for him in the area. She found him very weak and both eyes could barely open yesterday. She caught him this morning and brought to Anima. He also has yellowish discharge and he is anemic, skinny and probably with fat liver. Heart and lungs were clear. Severely dehydrated and with hypothermia. He was not moving and refuses to eat. The prognosis is poor! He is now in V6 under IV dripping, under  close observation! Thanks Michele! Anima – April Rescue and Sad News (1697-Kobee)!

1697-Kobee was rescued by Anima after a call from a lady reporting that she  brought 1697-Kobee to Macau but Kobee had diarrhea with blood and the overall health condition was not good. She took 1697-Kobee to a clinic but could not afford the vet bill. She asked if we could help to pay the vet bill and collect 1697-Kobee. 1697-Kobee has run a Distemper test and Parvovirus test. Both results were positive! The dog died in the clinic during the treatment and his body was sent by Anima to Macau Kennel. The bill will be, exceptionally, paid by us. Please Pay Attention, you must always comply with Macau laws. We will not disclose the details of this case but we strongly ask you to respect our laws being prudent! R.I.P. my friend!
