Anima–August Return (C2207-Everett)!

<24-08-2022> C2207-Everett (M), C2208-Ethan (M), both around one year old at the time and C2209-Esra (M), around two years old at the time, were all rescued from IAM due to lack of space on the 26th September 2019. C2207-Everett (M), around four years old now, was adopted on 22nd October 2019. The adopter contacted Anima and informed that Everett scaped by a plastic net, biting it months ago. He had seen Everett in the neighbourhood and had been trying to catch him but failed for multiple times. Due to his job and other reasons, the adopter can’t feel able of take care of him anymore. C2207-Everett returned to Anima, living now in our Cats’ Paradise! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (2463-Cupcake)!

<24-08-2022> 2463-Cupcake was rescued by Anima today! Cupcake (F, 8months old), had a traffic accident and got injured two months. IAM rescued her and had surgery. Since the wound was seriously infected, unluckily Cupcake had to amputate her left front leg. Cupcake is now a three-limb dog, and we understand that it is really hard to find an adopter for Cupcake. Anima decided to bring Cupcake back to Dog’s Shelter and find her a forever home! Please Adopt and Never Buy! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–August Rescue (C2743-Button)!

<23-08-2022> C2743-Button (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 23th August 2022, after a message on Facebook from Ms. Ku referring that a stray cat has fallen from her building and got trapped in the terrace for four days. C2743-Button was caught with IAM help and made health exams. X-Ray images revealed a lumbar vertebra fractured and that was making him unable to urinate and defecate on his own. The cat was paralyzed and aggressive due to his pain. A surgery will be performed later to improve his quality life. Thanks, Ms. Ku and IAM! Please help us to help them! <22-08-2022> 2462-Baiar (F), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd August 2022, after a call from a witness, reporting that he saw 2462-Baiar being abandoned by a man in Hac Sa Beach. Anima–August Return (C2501-Indigo)!

<22-08-2022> On 20th August 2022, Anima was informed by the adopter of C2501-Indigo, that the kitten was sick and got worst recently. Indigo was consulted and diagnosed with leukemia in a vet clinic. The adopter sought our advice and Anima suggested to send Indigo to another vet clinic for a second opinion. Today, Indigo was severely anemic and he was sent to another clinic. According to the vet, he might have an autoimmune disease. C2501-Indigo is going to stay hospitalized, under treatment and medical care. Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue and Adoption (C2742-Chamusca)!

<19-08-2022> C2742-Chamusca (F), around six and a half months old, was rescued by Anima on 19th August 2022, after a call from Ms. Carla referring that she found a cat in the storage room in the patio of her work place. A cat trap was lent to her and she manage to catch the kitten, sending her later to a vet clinic. C2742-Chamusca was checked and neutered (desex). After the surgery she was adopted by Ms. Carla. Anima–August Rescue (C2739-Ripley)!

<16-08-2022> C2739-Ripley (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 16th August 2022, after a message on Facebook from Mr. Sou asking if we could help a pregnant cat in Rua de St. Jose, Edf. San Chi. The cat has no owner as she stays in the hall way and seems many people feed her regularly. Our Rescue team got more information about Ripley, and it is not the cat’s first pregnancy. She was pregnant before and the kittens either were taken by people or passed away due to sickness. Rescue team manage to catch her, and Ripley was sent to a clinic. According to the vet, the pregnancy is around six weeks. C2739-Ripley will stay under quarantine in our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Sou! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (C2738-Kit)!

<16-08-2022> A kitten, C2738-Kit (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 16th august 2022, after a call from Ms. Sam referring that a kitten, Kit, seems to have a bite wound on the neck and a man throw her in a dumpster in Rua Dois da Cidade Nova de T’oi San. She asked us help. Today, our rescue team collected the kitten and sent him to a clinic for checking the wound. After consultation, it is visible that there are two small bite holes. X-ray showed that the head have a small crack on the skull, too. According to the vet, Kit will be fine with a simple treatment during quarantine in our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Sam! Anima–August Rescue (SPP1476-Orson)!

<09-08-2022> SPP1476-Orson (M), with seven years old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) at Hac Sa beach in Coloane, with people and Anima employees responsible for him. Recently, someone noticed that Orson was not eating and was losing weight. Orson was sent to a veterinary clinic where a not identified object was seen in his stomach. He was hospitalized to check the stomach contents. If no bodies were detected, a swelling of the spleen due to a tumor was suspected. After diagnosis, the foreign body in the stomach was excreted. The vet tested him for parasitic blood diseases and he is positive for Elrlichia. SPP1476-Orson will stay at the clinic until recover. Please help us to help them!
