Anima – Rescue & New SPP Dog (SPP1684 & SPP1685)!

SPP1684-Cream (F), around eight years old, and SPP1685-Ten (F), around four years old, both now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima after a call from a lady reporting that SPP1684-Cream and SPP1685-Ten were two of the 28 dogs that she has been taking care of in her house, and both of them needed to be spayed. Anima has been supporting food and medical care for all of her dogs since 17th April 2014. This is a distressed situation that we do not advice anyone to deal with! SPP1684-Cream and SPP1685-Ten were delivered to a clinic for de-sex surgery today. They were spayed and returned to her in good condition. Please help us to help them! Please de-sex your pets! Anima – March Rescue (C1140-Poppy)!

C1140-Poppy, around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a kitten was hiding under the tree near Rua Dois do Bairro da Concordia. Her body was soaked and the left hind leg was limping. She was sent to a clinic immediately for an X-Ray. The result showed that her left hind leg was fractured. She had to stay overnight in the clinic for observation. Thanks Ms. Leong! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – March Rescue (SPPC975 and SPPC976)!

SPPC975-Julie and SPPC976-Joey, both under our Special Protection Program since 18th June 2015, were rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that both of them need de-sex surgeries. They live somewhere in Tapia under Michele’s responsibility. They are staying with us temporarily and we will provide both of them the de-sex surgeries. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima – March Rescue (SPP1666-Tika)!

SPP1666-Tika was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Joan reporting that Tika was found breathing hard and vomiting. SPP1662-Tanmi, around three years old, with her six puppies, SPP1663-Therese, SPP1664-Tenny, SPP1665-Talina, SPP1666-Tika, SPP1667-Terro and SPP1668-Trafo, all around three months old, under our Special Protection Program since 10th March 2016, after a call from Mr. Chan and Ms. Joan reporting that the dogs live in a construction site somewhere in Taipa. Mr. Chan and Ms. Joan are responsible for all of them in that area. SPP1666-Tika was sent to a clinic immediately for consultation and he had to stay overnight in the clinic for observation. The first vet opinion shown he needs a surgery but can only do it this Sunday and he has possibilities of survive. Anima – March Rescue (1671 to SPP1676)!

1671-Jacker, 1672-Joggi, 1673-Joseph, 1674-Japer, 1675-Jotty with the mother SPP1676-Josha were rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Cheng reporting that SPP1676-Josha, around four years old, now under our Special Protection Program, with her five puppies, all around three weeks old, were found in a construction site somewhere in Coloane. According to Ms. Cheng, the place was dangerous for the dogs due to bad weather and the living condition, so she asked us to help. Our rescue team went to the site and found the puppies hiding inside a huge pipe. The puppies were taken out from the pipe and the mother 1676-Josha was rescued as well. Anima – March Rescue / Return (SPP1669 & SPP1670)!

SPP1669-Loi Loi and SPP1670-Angel, both around three years old, now under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima after a call from a lady reporting that SPP1669-Loi Loi and SPP1670-Angel were two of the 28 dogs that she has been taking care of in her house, and both of them needed to be spayed. Anima has been supporting food and medical care for all of her dogs since 17th April 2014. This is an exception to our Special Protection Program as this program is design only for homeless animals and only was accepted because of the poor financial capabilities of the owner! Anima – March Rescue (C1139-Shaw)!

C1139-Shaw, around four years old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Cheang reporting that he rescued C1139-Shaw on Rua do Gamboa and C1139-Shaw could not walk properly. C1139-Shaw was delivered by Anima to a clinic immediately. The X-Ray result, according to the  clinic, indicates that everything was normal. However we are looking for a second vet opinion as the cat doesn't seem capable to walk! One of his canine teeth was broken so he could have fallen down from a building. Anima – March Rescue (1661-Jenson)!

1661-Jenson, around four months old, was rescued by Anima after a call from a security guard of a company somewhere in Coloane reporting that a puppy, 1661-Jenson was trapped in the branches inside the company and Jenson had a collar and leash on. According to the guard, 1661-Jenson was almost hit by a truck. Jenson is now staying in Anima. Thanks Mr. Guard!  Never Abandon your pets! SPPC1138-Anjos, around four years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that Anjos was found skinny, weak and dehydrated somewhere in Taipa. Anjos has skin lesions and hair loss on the back, especially the right limb was red and round. Anjos is staying with us temporarily and Michele will be responsible for him in the area. Anima – March Rescue (C1137-Bosso)!

C1137-Bosso, three years old, was rescued by Anima after a call  reporting that  Bosso was fighting with  other cat at home. On 23rd December 2015, we were contacted by the same owner asking us to collect his two cats as they were always attacking his older cat, C1137-Bosso. We collected one of the two cats, C1090-Shadie at that time. The owner contacted us later referring that C1137-Bosso and the other cat were not fighting anymore. Today, the owner took C1137-Bosso to Anima and told us that Bosso was fighting with the other cat again. Very strange as Bosso was always atacked by the other cat! Even disagreeing, we decided to collect Bosso just like happened with Shadie as the family was not able to handle the situation and one the members is sick!
