Anima – January Rescue (C1102 to C1106)!

The mother, C1102-Kanta with four kittens, C1103-Karin, C1104-Kasin, C1105-Karsen and C1106-Kapuni were rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Yao reporting that Kanta and her kittens lived in a warehouse on Rua Cinco de Outubro. According to Mrs. Yao, the warehouse will be closed until March and she will have no access to give food to the cats as she always did. Kanta is around two years old, and the kittens are around two months old, three males and one female. They are staying with us now. Thanks Mrs. Yao! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Rescue (C1101-Artemis)!

C1101-Artemis was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Lei regarding that a cat was found on the street near Teatro de Pedro V. According to Ms. Lei, Artemis was very weak, hardly breathing and was not moving. As it was an emergency situation, we asked Ms. Lei to take Artemis to a clinic nearby first as it would take us a long time to arrive there. Artemis was delivered to the clinic and she had to stay in the clinic for observation as she was very weak. Artemis passed out for a while when brought in, with low temperature and low blood sugar. Anima – January Rescue (C1100-Tut Tut)!

C1100-Tut Tut was rescued by Anima after Mr. Peter contacted us reporting that a cat was trapped inside a locked backyard of a temple in Macau and the cat had not had any access to food and water for 6 days. Mr. Peter has been feeding stray cats in the area for years, and the mother of Tut Tut has passed away recently. Mr. Peter said the people in the temple refused to open the backyard door and the neighborhood was not friendly to strays cats, so Mr. Peter asked us to help and collect Tut Tut. As our rescue team arrived the place, Tut Tut was found trapped on the roof of a confined room in the backyard. Anima – January Rescue and New SPP (SPP1628-Hakon)!

SPP1628-Hakon was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that Hakon was found refusing to eat since few days ago. Hakon is a male, around 5 years old. SPP1628-Hakon, now under our Special Protection Program, was delivered to a clinic for a consultation. The blood test showed that he was severely anemic. Hakon is staying with us now. Hakon will be released back to its former place once he is recovered and Mr. Chan will be responsible for him. Thanks Mr. Chan! Never abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Anima – January Rescue (1442-Hac Mui)!

SPP1442-Hac Mui (Now 1442-Hac Mui) was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Antonio on 29th December 2015 reporting that Hac Mui was originally taken care by an old man near A-Ma Temple, but the old man passed away recently. Hac Mui is a female, around 5 years old. Anima decided to collect Hac Mui as she was always wandering on the street and running across the road. Thanks Mr. Antonio! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – January Rescue (1625 to 1627)!

1625-Wallace, 1626-Walmond and 1627-Wardell, all two weeks old, were rescued by Anima today after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that  they were alone as several mothers in a contruction site were caught  by IACM. Those puppies have to go to Anima as the Pet Shop contacted by Ms. Ian could not feed them night time! As the puppies still need milk, they are now fostered by our supervisor Ms. Zoe that will feed them every three hours! Please be responsible! De-sex your pets! Never Abandon your pet! 1620-Ibbie was rescued by Anima after  a call from Ms. Chan on 1st January reporting that Ibbie was pregnant and living in a construction site in Coloane. Ibbie was under our Special Protection Program since 2nd January. As the site will be closed soon, we decided to collect her, even crowded! Anima – January Rescue (1623-Vamilla)!

1623-Vamilla, around two months old, was rescued outside Anima today. A lady came to Anima with Vamilla and said Vamilla was found wandering on a street in Seac Pai Van Public Housing, but her family is afraid of dogs, so she cannot keep her. There is a smell of shower when we were checking Vamilla. We are not sure that the dog didn't belong to the lady who brought her to us as she escaped very fast! Never abandon your pet! Anima – January Rescue (SPP1619-Hilda)!

SPP1619-Hilda was rescued today because she needed to have a de-sex surgery tomorrow. She was found having high temperature (40.2C) and many ticks on her body. She was sent to a clinic for a blood test. She has tick fever and needs to have medication for at least two weeks. Hilda is staying with us in T-1 area now! Never abandon your pet!
