SPP1640-Polma was rescued by Anima today as she will have a de-sex surgery. Polma lives in a construction site somewhere in Coloane, under our Special Protection Program since 25th January 2016. Our rescue team is responsible for SPP1640-Polma and she will be returned to the site after recovery. Please understand that we are completely full now! Please be responsible! De-sex your pets! Anima – January Rescue (C1111-Hermis)!

C1111-Hermis was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Albano reporting that a kitten was found in Hellen Garden, outside crying as it was very cold and she was very hungry. C1111-Hermis stayed overnight in his house and she was brought to Anima this morning. Hermis is a three months old female. She is now staying with us. Thanks Mr. Albano! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Rescue (C1110-Tordis)!

C1110-Tordis was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Ho reporting that her own cat gave birth to four kittens three months ago. Three of them were adopted by her relatives but she cannot find a family for C1110-Tordis, so she wanted to give us Tordis. We consider this as an abandonment but we want the best for the kitten. Anima – January Rescue and New SPP (SPPC1109-Phedra)!

SPPC1109-Phedra was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that a female cat, around seven years old was found with a nose injury somewhere in Taipa. SPPC1109-Phedra, now under our Special Protection Program, was brought to Anima by Michele. Phedra’s nostril got crusted and the tongue was injured. Auscultation indicated heart problem (arrhythmias). Some teeth was missing and most of them were worn. We are keeping an eye on her! Thanks Michele! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – January Rescue (1637 to 1639)!

1637-Addy, 1638-Adria and 1639-Aditi were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that he found three female puppies around 2.5 months old in a box in a construction site near Fai Chi Kei this morning. He did not know if someone abandoned the puppies in the box. Our rescue team arrived the site and collected them. Thanks Mr. Wong! Please be responsible! De-sex your pets! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – January Rescue (C1108-Wafery)!

C1108-Wafery was rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Miu reporting that a cat was found dying in Patio da Palha. Wafery was sent to a clinic immediately by Anima. According to the vet, Wafery is full of fleas, and he has bad smells from his mouth. The blood test result showed that he has pancreas failure with anemia. Wafery is a male around 2 years old. Anima – January Rescue (C1102 to C1106)!

The mother, C1102-Kanta with four kittens, C1103-Karin, C1104-Kasin, C1105-Karsen and C1106-Kapuni were rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Yao reporting that Kanta and her kittens lived in a warehouse on Rua Cinco de Outubro. According to Mrs. Yao, the warehouse will be closed until March and she will have no access to give food to the cats as she always did. Anima – January Rescue (C1101-Artemis)!

C1101-Artemis was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Lei regarding that a cat was found on the street near Teatro de Pedro V. According to Ms. Lei, Artemis was very weak, hardly breathing and was not moving. As it was an emergency situation, we asked Ms. Lei to take Artemis to a clinic nearby first as it would take us a long time to arrive there. Artemis was delivered to the clinic and she had to stay in the clinic for observation as she was very weak. Artemis passed out for a while when brought in, with low temperature and low blood sugar. Anima – January Rescue (C1100-Tut Tut)!

C1100-Tut Tut was rescued by Anima after Mr. Peter contacted us reporting that a cat was trapped inside a locked backyard of a temple in Macau and the cat had not had any access to food and water for 6 days. Mr. Peter has been feeding stray cats in the area for years, and the mother of Tut Tut has passed away recently. Mr. Peter said the people in the temple refused to open the backyard door and the neighborhood was not friendly to strays cats, so Mr. Peter asked us to help and collect Tut Tut. As our rescue team arrived the place, Tut Tut was found trapped on the roof of a confined room in the backyard.
