Anima – October Rescue and Return (1546-Bon Bon)

1546-Bon Bon was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Bryan reporting that a small dog (1546-Bon Bon) was found in Taipa near the School of Nations. He thought Bon Bon was lost and asked Anima to help. The rescue team went to the site and found Bon Bon on the road between cars. Anima was able to get him and after few minutes walking him with a leash he drive us to his home. After some more minutes the owner showed-up! After scanned we found that Bon Bon had a microchip! Thanks Mr. Bryan! Please be responsible and careful! Never leave your pet alone in the street! Never abandon your pet! October Rescue (C1047-Buddy and C1048-Boyd)!

C1047-Buddy and C1048-Boyd, both males, around 1.5 months and 3 weeks, respectively, were rescued by Anima after a call from Michelle that brought them to Anima. Buddy has been kicked by someone and was in pain and sick. Thanks Michelle! Never abandon your pet! Anima – October Rescue and Relocation (SPP1544-Pako)!

SPP1544-Pako was rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Peng reporting that Pako needed to be moved to another site as the people there was not friendly to him. As she was not familiar to Pako she asked our support. Anima rescue team was able to move him to the new area where he lives in better conditions. Please see the pictures, one in the old area with a lot of rubbish and the other in the new area surrounded by people. Pako is now under our Special Protection Program under the supervision of Mrs. Peng. Please help us controlling the colonies! Anima – October Rescue (SPP1545-Marvis)!

SPP1545-Marvis was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that Marvis, living in a site, was weak and sick and was bitten by the adult dogs. He was really in very bad shape, severely dehydrated and full of fleas, ticks and worms! We will try our best to save him! Anima – October Rescue (C1046-Burst)!

C1046-Burst was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Wong referring that she found a kitten (C1046-Burt) inside the water meter box in her building. As it was raining so much Burt was hiding there. He was sent to a clinic for checking and he was very hungry, it seems not eating for few days already! He was de-wormed and is now staying in B13 waiting for an adoption. Later he will be properly vaccinated. He was rescued because he was in risk! Today Anima refused to collect another cat as he was healthy, very clean as he was protected by community members around! Anima – October Rescue (C1045-Finn)!

C1045-Finn was rescued by Anima after a call from Michelle who brought him to us. Finn was in very bad shape, dehydrated, with anemia and two wounds, one of them infected, low temperature and weak. Anima – October Rescue (1543-Abbi)!

1543-Abbi was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that a dog was found in Largo do São Domingos in front of a shop and was unable to move. 1543-Abbi was sent to a clinic immediately and he had no fracture. Few minutes afterwards Anima get a call from a lady telling that she is the owner of Abbi, a male dog around 7 years ago. Abbi lived with her family until some members decided to abandon him in the street without talking to her. Anima can not understand this excuse and we hope the family can take a good decision for Abbi! Please help us Adopting! If you do not help us adopting animals that live with us we are not able to save more animals abandoned in the streets! This means that sooner or later they will be killed by IACM! We have no capacity to rescue...

Anima – October Rescue and Sad News (C1044-Viti)!

C1044-Viti was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Chio at 10:30 am, reporting that Viti was found dying in the street at Estabulo de Comidas A It Tai, on Av. da Amizade (NAPE). The cat was hiding in the corner of a vase in front of the restaurant, and was too weak to walk. She was taken immediately to a clinic. Her temperature was very low. Anima – September Rescue (1535 to 1541)!

1535-Paiman, 1536-Paisley, 1537-Pal, 1538-Palmer, 1539-Paloma, 1540-Paola and 1541-Parisa, four males and three females, were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Ho, regarding seven puppies, around two weeks old, that were born in a construction site and the mother was not properly feeding them. She belongs to another construction site. Anima made an appeal to several volunteers to help feeding them and got a good response. Meanwhile for the first day we divided the puppies within our staff until we reorganize who will feed them. The mother was caught by our trap and we will try to follow-up the family in our shelter to see if she properly feed her puppies. In case we do not succeed we will feed them until we can organize the volunteers. 1534-Sibala was rescued by Anima even if we disagree with who brought him to us. He invokes family problems, and as begins to be a common story, the pregnancy of one family member is usually the justification.
