Anima – May Rescue (C956-Meijo)

C956-Meijo was rescued after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that three kittens with their mother were found in his place at Estrada do Cemiterio (Santo António e São Lázaro" Social Service Centre). As the kittens were difficult to catch we used our trap. C956-Meijo was collected by our rescue team and she is staying now in Anima together with her brother C952-Denzel rescued on May 22, 2015. Anima – May Rescue (B012-Greenie)

B012-Greenie was rescued after a call from Mr. Tang reporting that a bird was found under a motorcycle and was not able to fly. According to our rescue team he fall down from the tree nearby as seems the family was in the tree. We put him back in the tree as these birds usually can not survive in captivity. Thanks Mr. Tang! Anima – May Rescue (C954-Cato and C955-Cayla)

C954-Cato and C955-Cayla were rescued after a call from Mrs. Hui reporting that Cato and Cayla (the mother) were part of a group of seven cats living in a construction site. People there seemed not happy seeing community members feeding the animals. She was also worried the workers will poison the remaining two as three already have disappeared suddenly. Brandon, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Wu reporting that there is a dog (now SPP1467-Brandon) hit by a car few days ago in a gasoline station. The staff gives food to him and he stayed there since one week ago. As they can not afford to pay the vet bill Anima is helping. He was sent to a clinic for surgery and the cost will be around 10,000 patacas, fully paid by Anima. He will stay confined in Anima for a period of 10 days after surgery.
