Anima – May Rescue of eight puppies and their mother

1456-Tammy, 1457-Tala, 1458-Talia, 1459-Tessa, 1460-Tasha, 1461-Tamar, 1462-Travis, 1463-Tiago and 1464-Tora (the mother) were rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Ho reporting that eight puppies and the mother were abandoned in a cage in Rua de S. Francisco Xavier. According to the neighbors, the puppies with the mother have been there in a cage from around 5:00am this morning. The mother and puppies were full of ticks and fleas and 1464-Tora (the mother) was not willing to eat. She was temporarily separated from her puppies until she recovers. A good bath was immediately given to all of them before the frontline spray! The puppies now are being feed at home in groups of four by our supervisor Ms. Zoe and our handler Mr. Ronaldo. Anima – April Rescue (C921-YaYa)

C921-YaYa was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Cheong, reporting that a cat was hit by a car in R. da Barca, two years ago. The cat had a surgery as her right fore leg was fractured and was already recovered. However, her 10 cats were not friendly to YaYa. In order to avoid any fight, she was keeping YaYa in a cage every day. She was de-sexed and vaccinated. Living in a cage is not a solution! So Anima decided to keep her. We will not publish the picture of Bingo as it is not advisable for sensitive people! Please drive carefully! Be a responsible citizen! Coloane roads are very dangerous for animals! C920-Bingo was rescued by Anima after a call from Mrs. Eszter, Anima staff in day off, reporting that a cat was hit by a car in Estrada de Cheoc Van (near Coloane kennel). C920-Inigo was immediately sent to a clinic with internal bleeding. The condition was very bad as the blood were coming out from his eyes, nose and mouth. We have decided to stop his suffer. Anima- April Rescue (SPP1442-Hac Mui)

SPP1442-Hac Mui was approved to be under our Special Protection Program after we received a call from Mr. Antonio reporting that she was hit by a car and her left fore leg was limping. Mr. Antonio is willing to support the vet expenses and asked us to keep her until she is completed recovered. An X-Rays result detected that her leg has not a fracture. SPP1426-Roxana, a puppy, was found with a cut on her paw, during our rescue team daily supervision and feeding on sites. The wound was cleaned and stitched and medication provided.
