Anima–March Sad News (C2702-Odin)!

<24-03-2022> The body of a cat, C2702-Odin (M), around one year old, was picked up by Anima on 24th March 2022, after one of our volunteers from Melco Resorts and Entertainment informed us that they just saw a dead cat near seaside in Coloane Centre before coming to our Cats’ Paradise. Our rescue team staff talked to a lady who’s living in the area, who said that recently some cats were attacked by dogs and died nearby. Odin’s body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! <24-03-2022> C2703-Emma (F), around five months old, was rescued by Anima on 24th March 2022, after a call from Ms. Ho asking for help as she found a kitten, C2703-Emma, laying in the middle of the road with blood surrounding the body in Rua de S. Francisco Xavier. Rescue team arrived and informed that Emma has passed away. Her body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-March Rescue and Adoption (2443, 2444)!

<24-03-2022> Teddy and Donky were adopted today by Ms. Sousa! 2443-Teddy (F) and 2444-Donky (M), both around 2 months old, were rescued by Anima on 24th March 2022, from IAM due to lack of space. They found the love of a new family after being dewormed, vaccinated, and checked by a vet. Ms. Sousa also made a kind donation to Anima for support our work and beliefs. Anima–March Rescue (C2701-Teppie)!

<22-03-2022> C2701-Teppie (M), around five months old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd March 2022, after received call from Ms. Tam referring that she saw a limping kitten for three days in the carpark of her workplace Edifício Industrial Tai Peng. She helped Anima to catch the kitten with one of our pet carriers. C2701-Teppie was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, he was limping and swollen on his right front leg. Teppie needed proper treatment for several other health issue. He will stay hospitalized until recover. Thanks, Ms. Tam! Please help us to help them! Anima-March Adoption (C2660-Gumpty)!

<19-03-2022> Gumpty was adopted today by Mr. Bo! Five cats were rescued by Anima on 4th November 2021: C2658-Lolita (F), a British shorthair around 12 years old, as well as C2659-Chantel (F), around three and a half years old, together with her three-month-old kittens C2660-Gumpty (F), C2661-Humpty (M) and C2662-Dumpty (M). Anima–March Rescue (C2700-Fluffy)!

<15-03-2022> C2700-Fluffy (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th March 2022, after received call from Ms. Un saying that she has seen a kitten with skin problem for a few days near R. de Entre-Campos. She asked us help. After Ms. Un has sent the kitten to a clinic, it was observed that he had a fungal infection on both sides of his ears, face and tail, which has to be cleaned with pink solution followed by a cream. According to the vet, the skin problem seemed to have been treated before. Fluffy was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise, after consultation. Thanks, Ms. Un! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Rescue (2440-Mama)!

<14-03-2022> 2440-Mama (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 14th March 2022, after received a call from a volunteer named Fai, who used to feed the dogs at Rua do Tiro, reporting that a dog was hit by a car, and she was paralyzed. 2440-Mama was immediately sent to a vet clinic for consultation. X-Ray Examination was done, and the images revealed that her thoracic vertebra has a fracture. Surgery will be performed as soon as possible. 2440-Mama is now hospitalized in the clinic. <12-03-2022> C2699-Roy (M), a cat around 10 months old, was rescued by Anima today. We received a Facebook message from Ms. Tang reporting that a cat with collar has been wandering around Avenida do Conselheiro Borja for several days. Many people have posted pictures of the cat on Facebook, but no owner claimed the cat. With the help of Ms. Tang, Roy was rescued and welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. No microchip was detected.
