Anima–October Rescue and Return (SPP1902-Farley)!

<11-10-2021> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old back then, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, and now he is under Mr. Leong’s responsibility in Coloane Water Treatment Company. Recently, Anima received a call from Mr. Leong reporting that SPP1902-Farley was hit by a car. He asked our help. SPP1902-Farley was sent to a clinic through or rescue team. X-ray result shows a fracture in the right back calf. His right back hip joint already had a problem since long time ago. According to the vet, a surgery would have some risks and he would never have a fully recover from it. SPP1902-Farley will now stay inside a cage for two months treatment, to limit his mobility and recheck after that time. The fracture part will heal by itself. A cage was lent to Coloane Water Treatment Company and SPP1902-Farley went back to his site in Coloane. Thank you, Mr. Leong! Please...

Anima-October Rescue (SPP2405-A-Mui)!

<09-10-2021> SPP2405-A-Mui (F), a dog around seven years old, is registered in our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 18th September, 2021. She’s living under Mrs. So’s responsibility in a site at Hac-Sa, Coloane. This morning, we were informed by Ms. So that A-Mui has a puncture infected wound near her left ear, possibly due to a dog bite. A-Mui was immediately rescued by our team and sent to a clinic. She will stay hospitalized for a few days and will be safely returned to the original site after being discharged. Through our SPP Program, we have been extending our support to a broad number of animals living out of our shelters, under the responsibility of volunteers. Anima–October Rescue (C2637, C2638, C2639)!

<05-10-2021> C2637-Bess and C2638-Basia, both females around one month old, plus C2639-Barton, a male around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 5th October 2021, with the help of the fire department. After a call from Mr. Jorge reporting that he saw a black kitten fell from the height and hit on the ground in an abandoned house in Tv. da Praia Grande, the kitten seems not moving well and he was weak after falling. He asked us help. As this is a private property, Anima asked for cooperation to other responsible security entities. The three kittens were rescued with the help of Fire Department and IAM. C2637-Bess, C2638-Basia and C2639-Barton were rescued, and they were sent to a clinic where they became hospitalized. Thank you all, Fire Department, IAM and Mr. Jorge! Please help us to help them! Anima–October Rescue (C2636-Yoga)!

<04-10-2021> C2636-Yoga (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th October 2021, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that he found a kitten, C2636-Yoga, in Border Gate on 2nd October 2021 during nighttime. He brought C2636-Yoga to a clinic for consultation as she was sneezing with nasal and eyes discharge. Health tests were positive for FCV (Feline Calicivirus) and Mycoplasma Felis carried by Feline panleukopenia virus. C2636-Yoga was hospitalized overnight in the Animal Hospital. Rescue Team also transferred her today to another clinic for a checkup. C2636-Yoga will be hospitalized there for treatment. Thank you, Mr. Ho! Please help us to help them! Anima–September Rescue (C2635-Aero)!

<28-09-2021> C2635-Aero (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 28th September 2021, after being reported by our staff that there was a small kitten walking on the net on the top of our Cats’ Paradise. The kitten was wandering between our building and Free Area backyard trying to climb to the Escola Superior das Forças de Segurança de Macau next door but failed. Anima–September Rescue (SPP2240-Ah Wong)!

<20-09-2021> SPP2240-Ah Wong (M), around 13 years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020. He was under Mr. O's responsibility in Templo de A-Ma (Barra). This morning, Anima was informed by Mr. O that SPP2240- Ah Wong is weakness and lethargy, also is not eating at all. SPP2240-Ah Wong was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood test results indicated that he has amenia. X-Ray Examination and Ultrasound results are normal. He was tested positive for Canine Ehrlichia (Tick Fever). According to the vet, he might also has an Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) as he is unable to stand or walk. SPP2240-Ah Wong will be hospitalized in the clinic for treatment. Thank you, Mr. O! Anima-September New SPP Dog (SPP2405-A-Mui)!

<18-09-2021> SPP2405-A-Mui (F), a dog around seven years old, was registered in our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 18th September, 2021. She’s living under Mrs. So’s responsibility in Hac-Sa, Coloane. Today, A-Mui was rescued by Anima for a medical check-up in a clinic, as some wounds were found on her neck. She was safely returned to her original site after treatment. Through our SPP Program, we have been extending our support to a broad number of animals living out of our shelters, under the responsibility of volunteers. <14-09-2021> Five puppies were rescued by Anima today! 2400-Max (M), 2401-Potter (M), 2402-Esme (F) and 2403-Florence (F), all around three months old and 2404-Snow (F), around four months old, were rescued on 14th September 2021. by Anima, after a call from IAM. Anima-September Rescue (C2624-C2634)!

<11-09-2021> C2624-Alicia (F), C2625-Vargas (F), C2626-Mariko (F), C2627-Morass (F), C2628-Diablo (M), C2629-Flying Tiger (M), C2630-Falcon (M), C2631-Largo (M), C2632-Zola (M), C2633-Beetle (M) and C2634-Tyrant (M), all kittens around six weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 11th September, 2021. The rescue happened after a call from Ms. Chan, who reported to have found the kittens abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were firstly sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. Anima-September Rescue (C2621, C2622, C2623)!

<09-09-2021> Three siblings of C2620-Miley, named C2621-Matilda (F), C2622-Melina (F) and C2623-Mani (M), all around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 9th September 2021, after another call for help from Ms. Teresa. According to Ms. Teresa, the mother cat has been living near her building for a while and she frequently wandered on the high wall for a rest. C2368-Lazaro was rescued from the same area by Anima on 6th July 2020, C2555-Lollipop was rescued from the same place by Anima on 21st March 2021 and C2620-Miley, the last one, was rescued on 30th August 2021. Ms. Teresa also mentioned that the mother gets pregnant multiple times. We believed that the mother still needs to be neutered. Anima can help by providing sterilization for the mother afterwards and return her back to the former place. C2621-Matilda, C2622-Melina and C2623-Mani are now welcome to our Cat’s Paradise.
