Anima–August Rescue (2391-Guia)!

<19-08-2021> 2391-Guia (M), around one and a half year old, was rescued by Anima on 19th August 2021, after receiving a Facebook message from Mr. Johnson reporting that there was an injured dog with a big wound on the head running around in the trail of Guia. He asked our help. After several tries the dog escaped into the bushes in the mountain. IAM was also searching the area as someone contacted them, too. Their staff manage to catch him and 2391-Guia was transferred to Anima when arrived in Macau Kennel. The wound got worse and Guia needed to go to a clinic. According to the vet, he needs to stay for a while to have appropriate treatment. Hope e gets better soon to come back to our Dogs’ Shelter! Thanks, everyone and IAM for the cooperation! <18-08-2021> C2614-Nexxie (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 18th August 2021, from Macau kennel. Anima-August Rescue and Return (SPP2381-Michael)!

<17-08-2021> A mother dog, SPP2380-Dong Dong (F) with around three years old and a father, SPP2381-Michael (M), around six years old, along with their five puppies, all became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 26th July 2021, under Mr. Io's responsibility. Today, SPP2381-Michael was sent to a clinic for a desex surgery. Everything went well and Michael got back to his place. Anima will help with the neutering surgeries and promotion for adoption. Anima–August Rescue (C2613-Rapunzel)!

<17-08-2021> C2613-Rapunzel (F), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 17th August 2021, after a call from Ms. Hao reporting that she found a sick kitten at Monte Forte with swollen eyes. Rescue team went to site and brought the kitten immediately tour Cats’ Paradise. C2613-Rapunzel was very dirty, constantly sneezing with sonorous breathing. She also had reddish swollen eyes and a lot of ocular discharge. She went to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, Rapunzel had cat flu and suggested to be hospitalized until get better. Anima–August Sad News (C2611-Juno)!

<16-07-2021> C2608-Aurora, C2609-Venus, C2610-Valcan, C2611-Juno and C2612-Fortuna, all newborns, were rescued by Anima on 15th August 2021, after a box with five kittens was left at CP’s entrance this morning and they were found by one of our staff when he came to work in the early morning. They were immediately cleaned and warmed with towels. C2608-Aurora, C2609-Venus, C2610-Valcan, C2611-Juno and C2612-Fortuna were sent to a vet clinic for treatment and care, while we were trying to find who left the box there and te reason why. Anima reported this case to IAM to help us. Today, the clinic informed that C2611-Juno was too weak and passed away. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Anima-August Rescue (2389-Hac Chai)!

<15-08-2021> 2389-Hac Chai (M), a 10-year-old dog, was rescued by Anima on 15th August 2021, after having been found by a member of our staff trapped in an open sewage channel in Coloane. Hac Chai was found very weak and his ears were rotten with maggots. We were able to localize the owner of the dog who reported that Hac Chai had been disappeared for five days. He was in need of urgent care and Anima agreed to support part of the vet bills, as the owner claimed to be unable to afford them. Hac Chai is now hospitalized in a clinic under treatment. Anima-August Rescue (C2607-Millennium)!

<14-08-2021> C2607-Millennium (F), a cat around one and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 14th August 2021, following a call from Mr. Kuan reporting that while passing by Avenida de Horta e Costa he found an injured cat at San Mui supermarket entry. Our team was dispatched immediately and Millennium was found with blood on her mouth, nose and left eye. She has no microchip and was sent to a clinic immediately. Between several health issues, Millennium was dehydrated, has a pelvis fracture and both her upper and lower jaw are broken. Her eye has conjunctival swelling and right hind leg has a deep open wound. She will remain hospitalized and will be subjected to surgery as soon as her condition stabilizes. Anima-August Rescue and Return (SPP2385-Happy)!

<11-08-2021> SPP2385-Happy (F), around one year old, became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 26th July 2021, under Mr. Io's responsibility. Today, SPP2385-Happy was sent to a clinic to desex. A blood test was done in the clinic, and she was healthy enough to receive the surgery. After it, SPP2385-Happy was returned to her place.
