Anima-June Rescue (C2589-Mollie)!

<24-06-2021> C2589-Mollie (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 24th June 2021, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that two cats were official abandoned by their owner who was admitted into a senior home half year ago. The cats have been wandering in the streets back then, where some neighbors and Ms. Wong started to feed them since April. Recently the cats have entered in an abandon building and could not come out. Ms. Wong asked us to help. Our Rescue team arrive to lend the cat trap and the lady showed the area where only a ginger female cat was living in. As the cat seems to have given birth to a litter recently, our rescue team informed Ms. Wong that we could not collect her yet, until the kittens can survive on their own. Anima-June Rescue (C2588-Novia)!

<21-06-2021> C2588-Novia (F), around one and a half months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st June 2021, after a call from Mr. Mourão reporting that there was a kitten C2588-Novia, wandering alone outside the main entrance of Venetian Hotel. He asked us help. Rescue team picked up the kitten. C2588-Novia is now welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks for your effort, Mr. Mourão! Never Abandon your pets! <21-06-2021> C2586-Lala (F), around one year old and C2587-Poe (F), around two years old, both were rescued by Anima on 21st June 2021, from Macau Kennel as they have no more space for cats now. SPP2371-Hac Mui III (F), around one year old, is registered in our Special Protection Program (SPP) and living under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in a construction site at Povoação de Lai Chi Vun. Today, Hac Mui III was rescued, spayed in a clinic and safely returned to her original site after surgery. Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima-June Rescue and Return (SPP2373, SPP2374, SPP2375)!

<19-06-2021> Three dogs under our SPP program received assistance from Anima today. SPP2373-Aerobic (M), SPP2374-Queen (F) and SPP2375-MoMo (F), all between two and three years old, live in a Ka-Ho car shop under Mr. Ng's responsibility. They were registered under our SPP program yesterday, when Mr. Ng has asked us for help as Aerobic showed up with a head injury. Queen and MoMo also have health issues and have been losing weight. Our team managed to rescue Aerobic and Queen today and sent them to a clinic. The wounds of Aerobic were treated and he returned to his original site after consultation. SPP2374-Queen, however, has severe anemia and a blood transfusion was needed. She tested POSITIVE with Ehrlichia, Babesia Canis and Anaplasma. One of our dogs, 1607-Eerika, was brought to the clinic for blood donation. She was the hero of the day and returned to our shelter after...

Anima-New SPP dogs (SPP2373, SPP2374, SPP2375)!

<18-06-2021> SPP2373-Aerobic (M), around two years old, SPP2374-Queen (F) around three years old and SPP2375-MoMo (F), around two years old, are now registered under our Special Protection Program (SPP). All are under Mr. Ng's responsibility in a Ka-Ho Car Shop, after we received a call from Mr. Ng himself reporting that SPP2373-Aerobic have a wound on his head and today started having nosebleed. It is suspected that some one hit the dog on the head. Anima will bring Aerobic to a clinic where they can provide medical care and later a spay surgery. Thanks for your support, Mr. Ng! Anima–June Rescue and Return (SPP2370-Sai Ngan Mui)!

<12-06-2021> SPP2370-Sai Ngan Mui (F), a dog around one year old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since June 12th, 2021. She is living under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in a construction site in Cotai. To prevent her from getting pregnant, Sai Ngan Mui was rescued today and sent to a clinic, in order to be neutered. Spayed and recovered, Sai Ngan Mui was returned to the original site after surgery. These efforts are part of Anima’s commitment to reduce the number of stray dogs in Macau. Never Abandon your pets! Anima–June Rescue (2372-Wong Choi Mui)!

<12-06-2021> 2372-Wong Choi Mui (F), a 16-year-old dog, was rescued by Anima on 12 June 2021, following a call from Ms. Ieong, an Anima Board Member, reporting that a skinny dog was found wandering on the road of Praia Do Manduco. Our team was mobilized and noticed the dog was microchipped. IAM was informed and assisted us contacting the owner. The owner, however, claimed to be unable to continue taking care of the dog due to financial reasons. Wong Choi Mui was diagnosed with Mammary Gland Tumor and Pyometra last year and has, inclusively, received surgery. Wong Choi Mui was then welcomed into our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima–June Rescue (SPP1713-Hac Chai II)!

<08-06-2021> SPP1713-Hac Chai II, an old dog from our Special Protection Program (SPP) and living in the kennel, was rescued by Anima on 8th June 2021, after a call from one of our handlers reporting that she found him peeing blood. SPP1713-Hac Chai II was sent to a clinic. Blood test results and an X-ray showed anemia and bladder problems. Hac Chai II will be hospitalized in the vet clinic for treatment.
