Anima–November Rescue (C2430-Dai Gor)!

<23-11-2020> C2430-Dai Gor (M), a cat around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2020, after a request for help from Ms. Chang. Dai Gor is a stray cat, fed by Ms. Chang and another volunteer. However, he appeared limping after a long time and they had to send him to a clinic. His spinal cord has been found to be broken and surgery is needed. Unfortunately, they could not pay the costs. Anima agreed to help and Dai Gor was transferred to another clinic today. A more detailed check-up revealed other health problems and he will stay in the clinic until the surgery be performed tomorrow! Ms. Chang and more friends were able to donate MOP $ 6,000 to help us with the costs. We are grateful for this kind support! <23-11-2020> B181-Seac Seac, a spotted dove (Spilopelia chinensis), was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2020, after our team found his dead body in the middle of the road outside a veterinary clinic in Seac Pai Wan. Anima–November Rescue (C2429-Pauline)!

<22-11-2020> C2429-Pauline (F), a cat around four years old, was rescued by Anima today. On 16/11/2020, we received a call from Mr. Cao reporting to have found a very weak and skinny cat at Pátio da Eterna Felicidade. An owner of a shop nearby claimed to have been feeding the cat for a few months, but insisted that the cat is a stray and didn’t plan to take her to a clinic for consultation. With the help of two volunteers, we managed to rescue Pauline today. She was directly sent to a clinic, where she will stay hospitalized for the time being. Thank you for the warning call, Mr. Cao! Anima–November Rescue (C2428-Rego)!

<19-11-2020> C2428-Rego (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th November 2020, after one of our members, Ms. Mandy, found a very friendly and clean cat with part of ear trimmed near a Bus Stop (Edf. Sunny View Garden) on a very busy road Avenida do Coronel Mesquita with many cars and pedestrians. Apart from an incense store nearby was open, the remaining shops were closed. The cat was brought to our Cats’ Paradise to check. Anima informed I.A.M. about C2428-Rego’s microchip number. According to I.A.M., the cat was adopted from Macau Kennel in August this year. The owner of the cat will be contacted and I.A.M. will take their own measures to proceed the case. Anima cooperates with I.A.M. to save as more animals as possible and keeping their welfare. Anima-November Return (SPP2313-Tiara)!

<19-11-2020> SPP2313-Tiara (F), around three years old, has been registered under our Special Protection Program (SPP). She is living in a site in Coloane, under the responsibility of Mr. Ng. Anima provided an X-ray exam and an ultrasound to check if SPP2313-Tiara was pregnant. Results were positive. She returned to site after the consultation as she is not suitable for spay. <11-11-2020> C2426-Kabir (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2020, after we received a Facebook message from Ms. Tang referring that there was a male adult cat, Kabir, maybe lost and hungry in Rua de Tomás Pires. Anima–November Foster (2185-Leslie, 2186-Gut Chai)!

<10-11-2020> Leslie and Gut Chai were temporarily fostered by Mr. Danny today! 2185-Leslie (M), around six years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 18th October 2019, after a call from Ms. Suzanna who found a Husky wandering alone in the street. Our rescue team recognized the dog that used to have an owner in a workshop and has a small dog as a life partner. Anima searched for Leslie’s buddy after rescuing him and found 2186-Gut Chai (M), around six years old by the time, who was also rescued by our rescue team on the18th October 2019.
