Anima-August Rescue (SPP2298, SPP2300)!

<17-08-2020> SPP2298-Beckie (F) and SPP2300-Brianna (F), both around 10 months old, are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 21st July and 9th August 2020, respectively, under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in Parque Industrial da Concórdia. SPP2298-Beckie and SPP2300-Brianna are the siblings of SPP2234-Benson, SPP2236-Betzy and SPP2299-Kinki. Today, both were rescued by Anima. SPP2298-Beckie was already spayed last month and now SPP2300-Brianna was sent to a clinic for the same. Brianna went back to our Dogs’ Shelter where she will stay near the siblings until recover. Anima-August Rescue (B163-Ines)!

<14-08-2020> B163-Ines (F) was rescued by Anima on 14th August 2020, after a call from Ms. Lo referring that a pigeon, B163-Ines, was found on the road of Avenida da Concordia and it is unable to fly. She asked us help. Our rescue team collected her and she was sent to a clinic. B163-Ines is now hospitalized in the clinic until recover and can be released back to nature! Thanks, Ms. Lo! Anima-August Rescue (C2376-Carter)!

<11-08-2020> C2376-Carter (M), around one and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 11th August 2020, after a call from Ms. Lo referring that she was taking care of one cat, Carter, abandoned by someone who lives in the same building of her. After one week, C2376-Carter, still does not get along well with her two cats who are not willing to eat food now. She asked us help. Our rescue team collected him. <10-08-2020> C2375-Melanie (F), was rescued by Anima on 10th August 2020, after a call from Ms. Pang referring that she saw an injured and bleeding cat near Yuet Tung Pier. Anima–August Rescue (C2374-Ulrich)!

<09-08-2020> C2374-Ulrich (M), around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 9th August 2020, following a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a kitten was lying down near Rua Quatro Do Barro Da Areia Preta, not moving. He asked us for help. Our rescue team went to the site and found Ulrich dehydrated, with a big wound on his left chin, as well as heavy ocular and nasal discharge. Anima-August Rescue and Return (SPP1902-Farley)!

<07-08-2020> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, under Mr. Alex’s responsibility. On 25th July 2020, Mr. Alex reported that Farley was limping on its right hind leg. Medication was prescribed, but he was not getting better. SPP1902-Farley was sent to a clinic. X-ray showed right hip joint have luxation and also right stifle joint suspected to have osteoarthritis, maybe caused by an old fracture. He might have pain occasionally due to osteoarthritis. According to the vet, he will never have a fully recover from a surgery. SPP1902-Farley went back to his site in Coloane. Thanks, Mr. Alex! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (C2373-Cullen)!

<03-08-2020> C2373-Cullen (M), around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd August 2020, after Ms. Bing brought the kitten to our Cats’ Paradise. She asked us to help. The kitten, Cullen, was collected by our rescue team, clinically observed and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. C2373-Cullen is now temporarily fostered by our staff member Mandy, to be fed with milk. Anima–July Rescue (SPP2299-Kinki)!

<31-07-2020> SPP2299-Kinki (F), around seven months old and from our Special Protection Program (SPP) under Ms. Chan’s responsibility, was rescued by Anima on 31st July 2020, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that he had an accident hitting a dog, SPP2299-Kinki, with his car in Largo da Ponte de Coloane. He asked us help. Anima staff went to the site with two volunteers and rescued the dog into a safe zone. SPP2299-Kinki was immediately sent to a clinic. X-Ray results revealed that her pelvis is fractured. According to the vet, it can heal without any surgery. Anima-July Rescue (B162-Myra)!

<30-07-2020> B162-Myra was rescued by Anima on 30th July 2020, after Mr. Anand brought over a baby crested myna bird to our Dogs’ Shelter. Mr. Anand reported that he just picked it up on Estr. do Istmo because he couldn’t see the mother or nest around. The baby bird, B162-Myra looks healthy but keeping opening his mouth and waiting to be fed. B162-Myra was sent to Macau Kennel as they have space and qualified persons to feed him until he can be able to survive on its own in the wild. Thanks, Mr. Anand! Please help us to help them!
