Anima- July Rescue (1105, 1106)!

<27-07-2020> 1105-Leila (F) and 1106-Yodell (M), both around seven and a half years old, were rescued by Anima on 27th July 2020, after a call from IAM informing that Leila and Yodell were abandoned in Macau Kennel by the adopter. Both were de-sexed and vaccinated in the kennel. 1105-Leila (F) and 1106-Yodell are welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima and IAM cooperate to save as many animals as possible. Thanks, IAM! Anima–July Rescue (C2372-Yacob)!

<25-07-2020> C2372-Yacob (M), around one and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 25th July 2020 after being found abandoned in front of Cat’s Paradise entrance gate in the early morning. He was not microchipped and was left with one bag of dry cat food, one bag of cat sand and a comb. A letter was found telling that Yacob was under the guard of a solitary old man who just passed away. The abandoner cannot take care of him anymore and want us to find a new home for him. July Rescue and Sad News (B157, B158, B159)!

<23-07-2020> B157-Miki (F), was rescued by Anima on 23rd July 2020, after being reported by our staff that a common dove, B156-Miki, was found injured inside our shelter, at the same place where her two babies, B158-Milo and B159-Mila, were found dead in their nest. B157-Miki was sent to a clinic. Miki had a very big fracture on her leg, an infected wound unable to heal on its own and she was suffering. After discussing with the vet, and approved by two Anima board members, she was euthanized in no pain conditions. The last decision belongs to the President of Anima and it is always very hard to make it! R.I.P. my friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Rescue (2295-Thumper)!

<10-07-2020> 2295-Thumper (M), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th July 2020, after a call from a security guard of Hospital de Reabilitação de Ka-Ho on 8th July, Mr. Dawa, reporting that a dog that he has fed for 3 years near the hospital was injured. He asked us to help. The dog has wounds on the head and both eyes are infected. According to Mr. Dawa, the dog is too sensitive as I.A.M had been trying to catch him many times. Anima lent a cage to Mr. Dawa to catch the injured dog. Today, Anima was informed by Mr. Dawa that 2295-Thumper was caught. He was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. Some puncture wounds from a bite were found on its head. 2295-Thumper will be hospitalized in the clinic, under medical care. He will also stay in Anima after recover. Thanks, Mr. Dawa! Anima–July Rescue (B156-Suli)!

<09-07-2020> B156-Suli, was rescued by Anima on 9th July 2020, after a call from Ms. Sousa reporting that she picked up a baby bird near MGM Cotai on her way to work. According to Ms. Sousa, there was a bird nest nearby but too high (around 10 m) and impossible to put him back. Our rescue team picked up B156-Suli and sent it directly a clinic for treatment and proper care. B156-Suli will stay in the clinic until be ready to be released. Thanks, Ms. Sousa! Anima–July Rescue (C2369, C2370)!

<07-07-2020> C2369-Hercules (M) and C2370-Hulk (M), both three months old, were rescued by Anima on 7th July 2020, after a referral case from Masdaw reporting that two kittens were found caged at Hac Sa Beach near Fernando’s Restaurant. Anima reported to I.A.M immediately. They were previously rescued by I.A.M on 25th July 2020. Today, Anima collected both kittens. C2369-Hercules and C2370-Hulk are now welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Anima–July Rescue (C2368-Lazaro)!

<06-07-2020> C2368-Lazaro (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th July 2020, after a call from Ms. Teresa reporting that a mother cat was living with a few kittens at the back of her house on Rua de Inácio Baptista and one of the kittens had fallen from a high wall. She asked us for help.  Our rescue team went there and the kitten, C2368-Lazaro, was immediately sent to a clinic for treatment. According to the vet, C2368-Lazaro had upper respiratory infection, as well as wounds on the left front and right hind paws. C2368-Lazaro will stay in the clinic under medical care. Anima–July Rescue (2294-Hua Hua)!

<05-07-2020> 2294-Hua Hua (M), around two years and six months old now, was rescued by Anima on 5th July 2020, after Ms. Hsieh informing that she is not capable to take care of him anymore as she has to go back to her country due to the Coronavirus outbreak. 2294-Hua Hua originally lived in the trail of A-Ma Cultural Village (Coloane) with his mother and siblings since 2018, when he was a puppy and they were fed by our Rescue Team and Ms. Hsieh every day. Later, when 2294-Hua Hua was two months old, he was rescued by a foreigner lady in the trail who brought him home. The lady posted the information of 2294-Hua Hua on Facebook and tried to find a family for him. Anima–June Rescue (C2362-Shannon)!

<02-07-2020> C2362-Shannon (F), around one month old, was rescued by Anima, after being brought by Mr. Peter, who reported that two days ago he met a cat mother with four kittens near Jockey Club. They were scared and all ran off except one kitten. The kitten, C2362-Shannon, was left behind as both of her hind legs couldn’t move and seemed paralyzed. She was sent to a clinic for an x-ray. Results showed some abnormal vertebrae and it could be caused by malnutrition or infection. According to the vet, it may not recover. C2362-Shannon will stay in the clinic under medical care.
