Anima-October Rescue and Return (SPP2408-Alton)!

<26-10-2021> SPP2408-Alton (M), around five years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and he was rescued by Anima on 26th October 2021. He is under Ms. So's responsibility in Hac Sa Site and Anima will support a spay surgery. SPP2408-Alton was spayed in a clinic today and returned safely to his former site after the surgery. Anima-October Rescue (C2648-King Kong)!

<21-10-2021> C2648-King Kong (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st October 2021, after received a Facebook Message from Ms. Lau reporting that a kitten, C2648-King Kong was wandering in the street at Rua do Comendador Kou Ho Neng, near Hotel Riviera. She asked us to help. C2648-King Kong was sent to a clinic for consultation as he seems lethargic. According to the vet, C2648-King Kong’s spirit was good, and he was capable to eat by himself. C2648-King Kong will be hospitalized overnight just to be under medical supervision for a while. Thanks, Ms. Lau! Please help us to help them! Anima–October Rescue and Return (SPP1902-Farley)!

<11-10-2021> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old back then, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, and now he is under Mr. Leong’s responsibility in Coloane Water Treatment Company. Recently, Anima received a call from Mr. Leong reporting that SPP1902-Farley was hit by a car. He asked our help. SPP1902-Farley was sent to a clinic through or rescue team. X-ray result shows a fracture in the right back calf. His right back hip joint already had a problem since long time ago. According to the vet, a surgery would have some risks and he would never have a fully recover from it. SPP1902-Farley will now stay inside a cage for two months treatment, to limit his mobility and recheck after that time. The fracture part will heal by itself. A cage was lent to Coloane Water Treatment Company and SPP1902-Farley went back to his site in Coloane. Thank you, Mr. Leong! Please...

Anima–September Abandonment (811-Nacha)!

<30-09-2021> 811-Nacha (M), nine years and nine months old, was adopted by a lady from Anima on 25th April 2012, when 811-Nacha was only three months old. Unfortunately, today he was left in Macau kennel! Anima was informed by IAM, recently that 811-Nacha was abandoned by the adopter at Macau Municipal Kennel due to an epilepsy seizure. 811-Nacha was rescued by Anima from Macau Municipal Kennel today, 30th September 2021. Owners need to know and to understand that there are more solutions than just abandon pets like material objects. They are living beings. Anima-August Return (C2142-Erwine)!

<30-08-2021> C2142-Erwine (F), around five weeks old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 20th June 2019, after she was found by one of our staff members right outside our Cats’ Paradise. Erwine was adopted on 9th August 2019! Unfortunately, today she was left in Macau kennel! The owner needs to leave and cannot bring her back. Anima-March Return (C2132-Iliah)!

<14-03-2021> C2132-Iliah (M), a cat around one year old at the time of the rescue, was collected by Anima on 5th June, 2019 from IAM (Macau Kennel), as they had reached their maximum capacity. He was welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise and would be adopted in May of 2020. Today, Iliah was returned to our shelter by the adopter, as the family was no longer able to assure his basic care.
